The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Quezon, headed by Provincial Director Abigail N. Andres, CESO V, conducted its Regular Monday Convocation cm Celebration of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMO) 2026 on September 7, 2026, via Zoom Teleconference.

The activity was conducted in compliance with Presidential Proclamation No. 316, s. 2017, which declares the month of September of every year as the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMO). It served as an avenue to foster unity, camaraderie, and awareness among DILG Quezon personnel while highlighting the importance of recognizing the Philippines as a maritime and archipelagic nation. The celebration further emphasized the collective responsibility of government personnel in promoting awareness, stewardship, and appreciation of the countryโ€™s maritime heritage and resources.

DILG Quezon participated in โ€œLooking Beyond Reintegration Towards Sustainable Peace: A Regionally Initiated Activity on Strengthening the Implementation of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP)โ€ held on September 1, 2026, at Hotel Marciano, Calamba City.

The activity brought together the Provincial and City E-CLIP Committees across CALABARZON to strengthen the implementation of E-CLIP and promote sustainable peace and reintegration.

One of the highlights of the activity is the awarding of DILG-Administered Package of Assistance to Former Rebels from Quezon and Rizal Province, underscoring the governmentโ€™s commitment to supporting beneficiaries in their transition toward a peaceful and productive life.
