In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026, with the theme “World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, and Innovative Responses,” the Provincial Government of Quezon, through the initiative of the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) and in collaboration with the Drug-Free Workplace Committee and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Quezon Provincial Office, successfully conducted the Drug-Free Workplace Certification Ceremony on June 22, 2026.
The activity recognized the Province of Quezon's continued commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive workplace free from the dangers of illegal drugs. It also highlighted the importance of sustaining drug prevention and intervention programs within government institutions.
The ceremony was graced by Abad H. Osit, Undersecretary of the Dangerous Drugs Board, who expressed the Board’s full support for Drug-Free Workplace initiatives and commended the Provincial Government of Quezon for its dedication to promoting a drug-free environment.
This milestone serves as a testament to the Province's unwavering commitment to strengthening anti-drug advocacy and fostering a culture of responsibility, wellness, and public service excellence.
