The Tactical Operations Wing Southern Luzon officially opened the month of May with its first Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to service and operational excellence.

During the activity, the message of the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LTGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA PAF, was shared with the troops, emphasizing that “without labor, nothing prospers.”

The ceremony served to honor the disciplined work of our airmen following the successes in Exercises Balikatan and Cope Thunder, vital firefighting missions, and the historic Sanay Punglo night combat simulation.

In his remarks, the Wing Commander encouraged all personnel to uphold excellence, professionalism, and integrity despite the challenges brought by the intense summer heat. He further emphasized that operational readiness, teamwork, and “malasakit” for one another must remain at the core of every mission as the Wing continues its preparations and responsibilities for the month ahead.

As we move forward this May, we remain mission-oriented, capability-driven, and firmly grounded in our core values.
