We proudly present the new officers of 𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 (𝗔𝗕𝗞𝗗) in the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Otso. This is not just about leadership, but about embracing a greater responsibility— to 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚, 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧, and 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 the community with a 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩. ❤️‍🩹

As we, 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨, step into our roles, we promise to 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 with 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, and 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣. Each of the officers carries not just titles, but dreams for a 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 and 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 community. Our journey won’t always be easy, but with teamwork, compassion, and dedication, we can make a 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚. 🍀

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Linggo ng Kabataan Last Day

𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗧'𝗦 𝗔 𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗣! 𝗗𝗮𝘆 3 of 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 25, 2025, 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙉𝙆 2025 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 🎊

The day started by having a 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 held at System Technology Institute (STI) in the morning. The day continued by 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 of Kabataan in Barangay Otso with a plaque of recognition. It was a proud moment not just for them, but for the whole community— proof that the dreams of the youth are within reach when fueled by perseverance and support. 🎓✨

The day also served as the 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 from the different competitions held throughout the week — 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙖𝙮, 𝙏𝙪𝙡𝙖, 𝙋𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 𝙎𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙈𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙈𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙮, and 𝙍𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Each award was not just a medal or certificate, but a recognition of 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣. 🏅

To end the program on a meaningful note, they handed out 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 to Kabataan ng Barangay Otso scholars. More than just support, it was a promise — 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝, 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨. 📚🌟

As we close the Linggo ng Kabataan 2025, we carry with us the memories of 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙛𝙪𝙣, and 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Thi is more than just a celebration of youth — it’s a reminder that 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮. 🌻✊🏻

𝘿𝙖𝙮 2 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 24, 2025 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 🧠🎮

The morning started with contests that showed just how expressive and brilliant our youth can be. From heartfelt 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘆/𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆 and powerful 𝗣𝗼𝗲𝗺/𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮, to the artistry 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 every participant poured their heart into their work. It wasn’t just about winning— it was about 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨, and 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣. ✍🏻

In the afternoon, the energy shifted to 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙮 and 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠. The 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 brought out the sharp minds of our kabataan, while the 𝙢𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 the brought cheers, excitement, and camaraderie. Whether it was through quiet focus or loud celebrations, one thing was clear: 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢. ❤️‍🔥

Truly, 𝗗𝗮𝘆 2 is a stage for kabataan to 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨, and 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧. 💚🫂

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Linggo ng Kabataan Day 1

𝘿𝙖𝙮 1 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 23, 2025 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨. ✨

We started the morning with our 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆, where we got to share fresh vegetables with the community. It wasn’t just about giving vegetables— it was about 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘺. Seeing people smile while receiving something so basic yet meaningful reminded us that 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩. ❤️‍🩹

By the afternoon, we kicked things off by launching the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗕3 (𝗕𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗮) in the Daycare Center. It shows how powerful we can be where we work things together. Afterwards, the the vibe shifted into something more 𝙛𝙪𝙣 and 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙘 with our 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. Laughter, a bit of competition, and lots of teamwork made the whole experience even better. We weren’t just playing games— we were learning to 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 and 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙪𝙥. 🫂

And of course, to wrap up the day, we all gathered around for a 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. There’s something about sharing food on one big spread that instantly brings people closer. With everyone eating side by side, 𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙣 and 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙨 naturally filled the air. 🍃

Truly, 𝗗𝗮𝘆 1 was a beautiful mix of 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙤𝙙, 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙖, 𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖! 💚✊🏻

✨ IDADAIT 2025: SUCCESSFULLY CELEBRATED! 🎉
Brgy. 8 says NO to drugs, YES to a brighter future!

Last June 15, 2025, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Brgy. 8, in collaboration with ABKD and KKDAT Officers, proudly spearheaded a meaningful and action-packed celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT)!

The event was filled with exciting and educational activities aimed at raising awareness and empowering the youth:

🚶‍♂️ Lakbay Laban: Hakbang Tungo sa Malinis na Komunidad!
— a mini parade showing unity in the fight against illegal drugs!

🧠 Lakbay Kaalaman: QUIZkada HINTo!
— an interactive quiz showdown that tested and boosted our knowledge on drug prevention!

🗣️ Talakayang Kabataan
— a heart-to-heart discussion on the dangers, consequences, and prevention of drug abuse, led by passionate and empowered youth leaders.

🎁 Prizes, learning, and laughter also made the day extra special!
