PRC CELEBRATES NATIONAL TEACHERS’ MONTH 2026

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers joins the nation in recognizing National Teachers’ Month and honoring the teachers who dedicate their knowledge, time, and heart to shaping generations of Filipinos.

Teachers do more than teach lessons. Teachers inspire dreams, nurture potential, uphold values, and help build a stronger nation.

Teacher, Ikaw Naman!💙

Day 1 - Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE)

Today, 05 September 2026 (Saturday), the PRC Regional Office IV-A Testing Center is witnessing another important milestone for aspiring electrical professionals.

The Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE) is being conducted today, as examinees put their knowledge, skills, and preparation to the test.

For those taking the examination, every problem calls for more than technical knowledge. It demands accuracy, sound judgment, composure, and confidence—qualities that define the responsibility entrusted to electrical professionals.

As the examination continues, examinees remain focused, read each question carefully, and trust the knowledge gained through years of study and practice.

Stay focused. Stay composed. Finish strong. "Today is a test of preparation. Tomorrow is an opportunity to put that preparation into service."

On 29 July 2026, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Public Sector Management Division (EPSMD) of the Department of Energy (DOE) conducted an energy audit at the Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office IV-A (PRC RO IV-A) as part of its continuing efforts to promote energy efficiency and conservation in the public sector. The activity was undertaken to assess the facility's current energy consumption, identify areas of inefficient energy use, and determine appropriate measures that may help reduce energy consumption and operating costs.

The audit was conducted by Mr. Dante L. Castillo, Senior Science Research Specialist, and Mr. Alejandre C. Montemayor, Science Research Specialist II. Representing PRC Regional Office IV-A were Mr. Michael Ryan U. Gonzales, Supervising Administrative Officer; Mr. Jeffrey A. Abella, Administrative Officer V; and Mr. Raymund D. Alvinez, Information Technology Officer I. All Activities were supervised by Ms. Rina R. Dador, Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Coordinator and headed by the Regional Director Reynaldo V. Cristobal, EEC Focal Person.

During the audit, the EPSMD team observed the existing practices related to the operation and use of electrical equipment and facilities. Particular attention was given to the operating schedules of air-conditioning units and other equipment, the condition and efficiency of lighting fixtures, the use of electrical appliances, and practices that may contribute to unnecessary energy consumption. The audit also provided an opportunity to identify potential energy-saving measures that can be implemented through improved operational practices, equipment upgrades, and greater awareness among employees.

Following the assessment, the final rating was issued on 1 September 2026, with PRC Regional Office IV-A achieving an overall score of 94.6%, equivalent to a 5-Star Rating and Grade A. The result reflects the office’s strong implementation of energy efficiency and conservation measures and its commitment to responsible and sustainable energy use.

The excellent rating serves as a testament to the office’s continuing efforts toward energy conservation and encourages the sustained implementation of energy-saving practices and initiatives.
