As part of the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) invites young people across Lucena City to create a short video that shares a meaningful story, message, experience, or perspective that can inspire others.

Different young people come from different contexts, different experiences, backgrounds, communities, and journeys. Yet through these differences, we can find common aspirations, shared hope, and inspiration.

We started by finding our purpose. Then, we learned to understand the system and know the community we hope to serve.

Now, it’s time to ask: What do we stand for?

Ngayong National Heroes Day, pasidhiin natin ang pag-alaala sa mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay, tapang, at serbisyo para sa bayan.

Bilang Kabataang Lucenahin, ipagpatuloy natin ang kanilang diwa, sa paglilingkod, pagkilos, at paggawa ng kabutihan para sa ating kapwa. 💙

Ang kabayanihan ay hindi lang nasa kasaysayan, patuloy itong isinasabuhay.

The Lucena City Local Youth Development Office, through our designated LYDO Officer, Rick Anthony Misiera, served as a resource speaker during the 𝐊𝐊 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐊 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚, held at Queen Mariette Resort, Brgy. Barra.

Sa pangunguna ni SK Chairperson Sophia Sophia Mae Zoleta, congratulations to SK Barra for this meaningful initiative for the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) providing young people with opportunities to learn more about youth governance, leadership, responsibilities, and the realities of serving the community.

For the first module of the Mark the Future: Young Leaders Academy - Certificate Program on Foundations of Youth Governance and Leadership (non-degree program), we are honored to welcome 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌. 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚ñ𝐞𝐫𝐨.

A civil engineer, public servant, entrepreneur, community development advocate, professional inspirational speaker, and transformational and life coach, Engr. Sheena M. Estanero brings a unique perspective on leadership grounded in professional experience, public service, and purposeful living.

She currently serves as Head of the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) of the City Government of Lucena and President of the Quezon Association of Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officers (QALEDIPO).

She will guide our aspiring young leaders in exploring their purpose, values, motivations, and vision for service because before we learn how to lead others, we must first understand why we choose to lead.
