DILG IV-A conducts the 2026 Technical, Financial, and Administrative Workshop and Updating of the DILG IV-A Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) to strengthen institutional preparedness and ensure uninterrupted public service delivery during emergencies and disruptions.

The activity brought together personnel from the Regional, Provincial, and City Offices, representing their respective divisions, sections, and units, to enhance coordination, streamline internal processes, and strengthen compliance with applicable laws and regulatory guidelines.

Anchored on Republic Act No. 10121, or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, the workshop also aims to review and update the Departmentโ€™s existing PSCP to ensure efficient, coordinated, and responsive government operations.

Through strengthened preparedness and continuous improvement, DILG IV-A reaffirms its commitment to resilient operations and reliable public service delivery, even in times of crisis.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IV-A reinforced its commitment to quality public service through a two-day Orientation on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) for Newly Hired Employees FY 2026, held on October 19โ€“20, 2026, via Zoom.

Organized by the Regional QMS Secretariat, the activity aimed to familiarize newly hired personnel with the Regional Officeโ€™s quality standards, operational procedures, and their roles in ensuring efficient and responsive public service delivery.

Ms. Cynthia R. Ramirez, an ISO Consultant and Trainer, served as the Resource Person and discussed the key principles and requirements of ISO 9001:2015, highlighting process standardization, risk-based thinking, and continual improvement. The QMS Regional Process Owners also presented their respective quality procedures to provide participants with a clearer understanding of established workflows and responsibilities.

Through this initiative, DILG CALABARZON continues to foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continual improvement, strengthening the readiness of newly hired personnel to contribute to organizational excellence and effective public service delivery.

DILG Region IV-A successfully held its Womenโ€™s Month Celebration: Physical Fitness and Sports Development Activity 2026 on October 14โ€“15, 2026, bringing together personnel from across the Region for two days of sports, camaraderie, and wellness!

The activity highlighted the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle while fostering stronger bonds among DILG personnel. It also served as an opportunity to celebrate womenโ€™s empowerment and reaffirm the Regionโ€™s commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusive participation.

The Region extends its sincere appreciation to Laguna Governor Sol Aragones, represented by her Chief of Staff, Mr. Ronald Barcena, for generously providing the venue for this yearโ€™s activity and supporting the Regionโ€™s initiatives for employee wellness and development.

Through activities like these, DILG IV-A continues to build a healthier, more empowered, and united workforce dedicated to delivering better public service.
