On August 13, 2026, the Laguna Police Provincial Office, spearheaded by Provincial Director PCOL Sandro Jay DC Tafalla, actively participated in the Advisory District 4A Cluster Assembly alongside various Municipal Advisory Groups.

The meeting assembly highlighted the strategic accomplishments of the advisory groups from 2022 to the present, re-affirming their unwavering commitment and continuing support for the PNP Police Transformation and Development program.

The Pila Municipal Advisory Group, under the leadership of Chairman Engr. Alex Reuyan, demonstrated strong active participation during the assembly, highlighting the municipality's localized efforts to advance the PNP Police Transformation and Development strategy.

Representing the non-governmental organization (NGO) sector, Secretary Ethel Fe Varona presented a comprehensive report detailing the group's major peace, order, and community development accomplishments spanning from 2022 to the present.

The report emphasized strong synergy between civil society, the NGO sector, and local law enforcement to build community trust.

Chairman Engr. Alex Reuyan and the attending members reaffirmed their advisory role in evaluating and recommending localized policies for the Pila Municipal Police Station.

The presentation proved that sustained community-led advisory oversight since 2022 directly contributes to the operational efficiency and integrity of local police transformation programs.

Rev. Ptr. Gerald B. Bejusano—the PAGPTD Religious Representative and District 4A Cluster Head—spearheaded a re-orientation session to realign members with their core roles, responsibilities, and the expansion of community-police partnerships.

The assembly saw active representation from the Municipal Advisory Groups across the 4A cluster, including: Lumban, Pila, Sta. Cruz, Magdalena, Pagsanjan, Cavinti, Luisiana, and Majayjay.

EMPOWERING OUR LOCAL HEROES FOR A SAFER PILA: Pila Police, Advisory Group Level Up Barangay Tanods in Batch 2 Training!

🛡️👮‍♂️BARANGAY BAGONG POOK, PILA, LAGUNA — Our community first responders are now sharper, stronger, and more equipped to keep our streets safe!

On July 31, 2026 at Barangay Bagong Pook Pila, Laguna covered court, the Barangay Tanod Capability Enhancement Training (Batch 2) successfully gathered the dedicated watchmen of Barangays

📍Labuin,
📍Bagong Pook,
📍Pinagbayanan, and
📍Aplaya
for an intensive, one-day peacekeeping seminar.

The event was deeply honored and empowered by the presence and full support of RC Pila West Service Impact President Hilda Tapongot, Pila Municipal Advisory Group Chair and RC Pila West Charter President Alex Reuyan, and Pila Chief of Police PMAJ Bob Ordiz.

This impactful initiative was brought to life by the partnership of The Rotary Club of Pila West, Pila Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Pila Municipal Advisory Group, this training transformed our local tanods into highly capable force multipliers for municipal law enforcement.

📈 What Went Down:
✅Blotter & Incident Reporting: Tanods received hands-on training on accurate barangay blotter logging and standard incident report form documentation to ensure clear legal records.

✅Legal & Human Rights Knowledge: Officers from Pila MPS guided our tanods on the strict legal protocols of Citizen’s Arrest and human rights protection.

✅First Responder Tactics: Tanods mastered the crucial steps of crime scene preservation and swift incident reporting.

✅Hands-On Defense Drills: Participants underwent practical training in proper arrest mechanics, defensive tactics, and safe physical restraint.

By bridging inland communities like Labuin, transit hubs like Pinagbayanan, high-density zones like Bagong Pook, and coastal fronts like Linga and Aplaya, Pila is building a unified, unbreakable shield against crime and disasters.

The PNP Municipal Advisory Group and Pila Municipal Station officially launched our premier project under Peace and Conflict Resolution and Prevention: the Barangay Tanod Capability Enhancement Training.

Held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at Barangay Masico, Pila, Laguna, this specialized initiative equips our local community watchmen with the vital tools, knowledge, and hands-on skills needed to keep our neighborhoods secure, peaceful, and resilient.
