💧 WATER CONSERVATION TIPS & IMPORTANT BILLING REMINDER

At Lupon Water District, we understand that receiving a high water bill can be frustrating. However, your monthly bill is based only on the amount of water that passes through your water meter.

We DO NOT estimate or add extra water charges.

Your bill consists only of:
✅ Water Consumption (based on meter reading)
✅ Meter Maintenance Charge (MMC)
✅ Penalty (only if payment is made after the due date)

There are no hidden charges.

💦 Simple Ways to Save Water

🚰 Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth or washing dishes.

🚿 Take shorter showers.

🔧 Repair leaking faucets, toilets, pipes, and water lines immediately.

🪣 Use a pail instead of a running hose when washing vehicles or cleaning.

🌱 Water plants early in the morning or late in the afternoon to reduce evaporation.

👕 Wash full loads of laundry whenever possible.

🚽 Check your toilet for silent leaks. A leaking toilet can waste hundreds of liters of water every day without being noticed.

⚠️ Monitor Your Water Usage

Please check your water meter regularly.

If you notice:

* An unusually high water bill
* Your meter continues to move even when all faucets are closed
* Possible leaks inside your property

Report it to us immediately. Early reporting can help prevent further water loss and higher future bills.

Remember, water that has already passed through the meter is recorded as consumption, whether it was used intentionally or lost due to a leak inside your property.
