Following the earlier announcement on the suspension of classes, the Municipal Government of Lupon has officially issued 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙤. 𝟭𝟲, 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, ordering the 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀, both public and private, in the Municipality of Lupon on 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

This measure is in response to 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 caused by the 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲/𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and is aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school personnel.

The MDRRMO and concerned offices are directed to maintain heightened monitoring and preparedness, while the public is advised to stay alert and follow official advisories from the Municipal Government and PAGASA.

In view of the latest Weather Advisory issued by NDRRMC placing Davao Oriental under Orange Rainfall Warning caused by shear line/wind convergence, classes at all levels, both public and private educational institutions, in the Municipality of Lupon are hereby suspended, effective 1:00 PM today, February 19, 2026.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and preparedness of learners, teachers, and school personnel amid possible weather-related hazards.

The corresponding Executive Order (EO) formalizing this class suspension will be issued and posted shortly.

The public is advised to remain alert and continue monitoring official weather updates and advisories from authorities.
