Moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Lambayong, Esperanza, CityOfTacurong, PresidentQuirino, Isulan), (Tabina, Dimataling, Pitogo), (NorthernKabuntalan, Kabuntalan, Talitay), (Manay, Tarragona, CityOfMati, SanIsidro and GovernorGeneroso) within the next 1-2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in , (SultanKudarat, SultanMastura, Parang), , , , (Barobo, Hinatuan, Tagbina, Lianga, SanAgustin, Bayabas, Tago, Cagwait, Marihatag, SanMiguel, CityOfBislig, Lingig), , (Caraga, Baganga, Lupon, Banaybanay, Boston, Cateel), , , (CityOfValencia, Maramag and Lantapan) which may persist within 1-2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (formerly "CALOY") was estimated based on all available data at 555 km East of Virac, Catanduanes (14.0°N, 129.3°E). Localized Thunderstorms affecting Mindanao.



FORECAST:

Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flashfloods or landslide during severe thunderstorm. Light to moderate winds from south to southwest with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 1.5 meters).

SYNOPSIS: Trough of TD “CALOY” affecting Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte. Localized Thunderstorms affecting the rest of Mindanao.
At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "CALOY" {HAGUPIT} was estimated based on all available data at 480 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.6°N, 130.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving Northward at 10 km/h.
FORECAST:
Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of Tropical Depression “CALOY” (HAGUPIT). Possible flashfloods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains. The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.1 meters) will prevail over northeastern section of Mindanao. Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds from variable directions with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 1.2 meters).
