The Duty Floor Watch plays a vital role in promptly identifying and addressing any irregularities, potential hazards, or emergency situations that may arise during the shift. This measure is likewise implemented to prevent unauthorized entry, loss or damage to government property, compromise of sensitive equipment, and potential harm to on-duty personnel.

In support of the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗥𝗖𝗦𝗣) and following the successful implementation of 𝘽𝘼𝙂-𝘼𝙉𝙂 (𝘽𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝘼𝙠𝙤, 𝙂𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣, 𝘼𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙂𝙞𝙥𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙤) last March 2026, the 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, headed by 𝙎𝙁𝙊𝟯 𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙨 𝙃 𝙋𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙤, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, in partnership with the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, under the leadership of 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 “𝗠𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗼𝗻” 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗷𝗼, 𝗥𝗡, successfully conducted the first day of the 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 03 September 2026 at Barangay Alasaging, Maayon, Capiz.

The activity provided dental services to residents of Barangays Quevedo and Alasaging, Maayon, Capiz, as part of the LGU-Maayon Serbisyo Caravan Wave 2.

The dental mission was made possible through the support and professional expertise of invited dentists from the 𝘽𝙁𝙋 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙑𝙄, 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝙄𝘿𝘼 𝙈 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙔𝙊 and 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝙍𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙀𝙇 𝙀 𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙊, together with FO1 Archie R Lopez and BFP-Capiz personnel FO3 James Michael C Ezpeleta, FO2 Shane Aiza I Deseo, and FO1 Gillien D Amar-Salgado.

Also taking part in the activity was the Maayon Primary Health Care Facility I, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Sandra Sorongon, who provided additional health-related services and assistance to the residents. Their active participation further strengthened the collaborative delivery of essential health services to the community.

The activity was likewise graced by representatives of the Local Government Unit of Maayon, headed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗷𝗼, 𝗥𝗡, represented by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗷𝗼, Liga ng mga Barangay President, together with Sangguniang Bayan Members 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗗. 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗜𝗜, and 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗗. 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝗹. The activity likewise received the support of Hon. Joshua B. Madamba, Punong Barangay of Quevedo, and Hon. Gemma D. Diestro, Punong Barangay of Alasaging.

The Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) is an exclusive program of the LGU-Maayon established by virtue of Executive Order No. 31, dated 07 December 2022. It seeks to strengthen community support efforts and address identified community concerns by bridging governance and development gaps through the delivery of necessary government programs, projects, and services, while ensuring sustainable development and promoting peace in target areas.

Maayon Fire Station Shift B Duty personnel conducted Skills Inventory/Refresher on Basic Rope Rescue Technique (BRRT) with emphasis on Ropemanship as part of its Daily Morning Activities on 03 September 2026.

The activity focused on the assessment and enhancement of fundamental rope rescue competencies, including proper rope handling and management, knot tying, identification and application of essential rescue knots, rope care and maintenance, and the correct use of rope rescue equipment. Through regular BRRT skills inventory and refresher training, firefighters strengthen their technical proficiency, operational readiness, teamwork, and confidence in performing safe and efficient rescue operations during emergency incidents.

Maayon Fire Station duty Fire Arson Investigator under the supervision of SFO3 Dennis H Pabilico, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted an 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 on 01 September 2026 into a 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 (𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹) 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 that transpired at Sitio Casutwa, Barangay Tuburan, Maayon, Capiz.

No fatality/casualty reported during the time of incident.

Maayon Fire Station Shift A duty personnel conducted an EMS Skills Inventory as part of its Daily Morning Activities on 02 September 2026.

T The activity focused on the assessment and enhancement of essential EMS competencies, particularly on various patient carrying and movement techniques, including the Firefighter’s Carry and Assist to Walk, to ensure the safe and effective movement of patients during emergency situations.

Regular EMS skills inventory enables firefighters to maintain proficiency, operational readiness, and confidence in delivering prompt, effective, and life-saving pre-hospital emergency care.

FO1 Henly Mae D Dorado, Fire Arson Investigator of this station, together with Mr. Relito Begota and Mr. Rimar Calizo, attended the 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 initiated by the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal (OPFM)-Capiz, headed by 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗠 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗔-𝗕𝗔𝗨𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, in partnership with the Capiz Provincial Government.

The activity was held at the Hall of Governors, Capitol Building, Roxas City, Capiz, on 01 September 2026.

The seminar was attended by BFP personnel and electrical installers from Roxas City and various municipalities of Capiz. It aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge and understanding of 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, in accordance with applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

The activity likewise emphasized the importance of proper electrical installation and strict adherence to established safety standards in preventing electrical-related fires, minimizing hazards, and ensuring the protection of lives and property.
