📢 ON-SITE SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE FOR COSCHO

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) will be conducting an on-site scholarship assistance in Maasim, Sarangani to provide guidance and assistance to coconut farmers and their families applying for the Coconut Farmers and Their Families Scholarship (COSCHO).

The Municipality of Maasim extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of PLTCOL Benjie O Ancheta.

We fondly remember his dedicated service to the Municipality of Maasim as Chief of Police in Maasim MPS in 2022, where he served with commitment, professionalism, and dedication to maintaining peace and order and ensuring the safety of our community.

His service and contributions to Maasim, as well as the lives he touched during his time with us, will always be remembered and cherished.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, colleagues, and friends during this difficult time.

𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗢 | Ipinaaalam sa lahat na suspendido ang trabaho sa Kapitolyo ng Lalawigan ng Sarangani at ang lahat ng klase sa lahat ng antas sa buong lalawigan simula ala una ng hapon ngayong araw bunsod ng naganap na lindol.

Hindi saklaw ng suspensiyon ang mga tanggapang naghahatid ng mahahalagang serbisyo, na inaasahang magpapatuloy sa kanilang operasyon upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mamamayan.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na manatiling kalmado, maging mapagmatyag, at sundin ang mga paalala ng kinauukulang mga awtoridad upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa.

DOLE, OND Hesed Foundation Extend Livelihood Assistance to Maasim Beneficiaries

On July 27, 2026, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through its Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), in partnership with OND Hesed Foundation Inc., provided livelihood assistance to qualified beneficiaries in the Municipality of Maasim.

The program benefited Parents of Child Laborers (PCLs), fisherfolk, and women, with five recipients from Maasim and four from the Municipality of Kiamba. Through the provision of livelihood starter kits, the initiative aims to help beneficiaries establish or expand sustainable sources of income and improve their families' quality of life.

The Local Government Unit of Maasim extends its sincere appreciation to DOLE and OND Hesed Foundation Inc. for their continued commitment to empowering communities through sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Present during the activity were Vice Mayor Visitacion S. Nambatac, Ms. Christine B. Bernabe, Senior LEO/OIC-SARFO Head, Sr. Erleen L. Carcillar, Executive Director of OND Hesed Foundation Inc., and Ms. Gervic P. Baque, PESO Manager.
