LOOK: The 2026 First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) is happening today, March 12, with the ceremonial "pressing of the button" scheduled later at 3:30 p.m.

Under the theme "Duck, Cover, and Hold: Gawin Dapat, Pero Hindi Sapat," the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) are urging the public to go beyond basic positioning and focus on long-term evacuation plans and community resilience. | via Elijah Canlas
