The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) of Southern Leyte held its Third Quarter Meeting at the PSA Training Room, Maasin City.

The meeting was chaired by PSC Chairperson and OIC- Provincial Planning and Development Officer Ms. Binky D. Vasquez, with PSA Southern Leyte Chief Statistical Specialist Eutemio A. Llevado Jr. as Vice-Chairperson. The activity gathered representatives from various provincial member agencies to strengthen coordination, foster collaboration, and advance statistical development initiatives in Southern Leyte

pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, Friday, August 21, 2026, is declared a Special (Non-Working) Day throughout the country in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, the Philippine Statistics Authority – Southern Leyte Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-SLPSO) informs the public that:

Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) – CLOSED

Civil Registry System (CRS) Outlet – CLOSED

National ID (PhilSys) Services will REMAIN OPEN and continue to serve the public during regular office hours.

Clients with transactions at the PSO and CRS Outlet are advised to visit on the next regular working day. Those availing of National ID registration and related services may proceed to the National ID Registration Center as scheduled.

IN PHOTOS | PSA Southern Leyte Conducts Random Check and Audit at Hinundayan Local Civil Registry Office.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Southern Leyte Provincial Statistical Office, in coordination with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Hinundayan through the Municipal Civil Registrar Victoria B. Calvar and staff, conducted a Random Check and Audit at the Hinundayan Local Civil Registry Office.

The activity aimed to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper maintenance of civil registry records, and to assess the LCRO’s compliance with established civil registration laws, policies, and procedures. It also provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement and strengthen the delivery of civil registration services.

This effort reflects PSA Southern Leyte's commitment to maintaining record integrity and delivering high-quality civil registration services.
