Through Governor Damian Mercado and Chairman/CEO Engr. Harley Luis T. Leano of Asian Pyrochem Technologies Inc., the MOA is a partnership of a visionary 350 Million US Dollar Global Barter Trade Loop, where 50 million USD Abaca Fiber and 300 million USD Iron Ore are allocated to enable direct access to robust international markets, securing fair compensation and sustainable livelihoods in the industry.

The turnover of kitchen kits and utensils was also conducted earlier in the presence of our LGU officials as an extension of direct assistance to our communities, as we reinforce our commitment to uplifting families and fostering development in the province.

In celebration of ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜† in October, we had the pleasure to listen to a Registered Psychometrician, Mrs. Jergin Stefan Paler-Javier, during our First Monday Flag Ceremony earlier this morning.

In her message, she discussed mental health in the workplace and reminded the provincial employees that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Governor Damian G. Mercado thanked the guest speaker and also acknowledged the teachers as we celebrate World Teachers' Day.

As the Chairperson of the ๐—–๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ of the Southern Leyte Medical Doctors and Nurses Scholarship Program, I presided over our Fourth Quarter Meeting today.

Together with the members of the committee, we welcomed Ms. Lady Lee Salar, a nursing scholar who recently passed the September 2026 PNLE, and discussed matters relating to her return service obligations to the province.

The committee also deliberated on the requests of our scholar-doctors for reassignment and replacement.

As I have said earlier, bringing together these agencies bridges the gap between national mandates and grassroots ex*****on. The meeting is also a vital platform to align our resources, synchronize our programs, and listen directly to the needs of our agricultural workforce.
