In celebration of the upcoming International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, PENRMO conducted a Capacity Development activity paired with a Mangrove Tree and Beach Trees Planting session at the Mangrove Nursery in Brgy. Panian, Saint Bernard, last July 21, 2026.

Mangroves serve as our natural defense against coastal hazards and vital breeding grounds for marine life. Every seedling planted is a step toward a more resilient environment! 🌿🐟

🌳 Fruit Trees Growing Project: Cash-for-Work Release 🌳

We are excited to announce the release of Cash-for-Work incentives for Phase 4 - 3rd quarter maintenance and Phase 5 establishment! A total of 303 beneficiaries from the following municipalities have received their support:

📍 Padre Burgos, Limasawa, Malitbog, Tomas Oppus, Bontoc, Sogod, Libagon, Pintuyan, San Francisco, Hinundayan, Hinunangan, St. Bernard, Anahawan, Silago, Bontoc, and Pintuyan.

This project supports sustainable jackfruit production with a regional goal of year-round harvest by 2030, while creating livelihoods and boosting community involvement in environmental protection and food sustainability. 🌱
