What better way to celebrate Consumer Welfare Month than with an energetic afternoon of movement, fun, and community spirit! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💃🕺

On October 1, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Southern Leyte brought consumers and partners together at Combado, Maasin City for a lively Consumer Fun Walk and Zumba Dance Party—officially kicking off this year’s Consumer Welfare Month celebration.

The event highlighted not only the importance of healthy and active lifestyles, but also the value of an empowered and informed consumer community. A total of 190 participants walked, danced, and celebrated together, showing that consumer awareness can be both meaningful and fun! 💪✨

This October, let us continue to know our rights, make informed choices, and become responsible consumers. Together, let’s build a stronger and more empowered consumer community in Southern Leyte! 💚
