Sa pagdiriwang natin ng buwan na ito, hindi lang natin aalalahanin ang kagalingan at katapangan ng bawat babaeng Pilipino. Isasabuhay rin natin ang makabagong Babaylan — nangunguna, lumalaban, pinakikinggan, at may paninindigang kasingtatag ng ating pinagmulan.

The Gender and Development Unit has successfully concluded the two-day 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑲𝑨𝑻𝑹𝑶𝑷𝑨 𝒂𝒔 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 last November 26-27, 2025.

Our heartfelt appreciation to all participants for stepping up, engaging wholeheartedly, and embracing your role as advocates of gender equality. Your openness, commitment, and active participation made this training truly meaningful.

𝑨 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕! The GFPS officially launched the 18-𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑨𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 (𝑽𝑨𝑾) last November 25, 2025, at the Old DPWH, Capitol Site, Southern Leyte. Let us continue working hand in hand to build safer, more inclusive, and gender-responsive spaces for all.

As we move forward, may we strengthen our shared commitment to end all forms of violence, uphold respect and dignity, and champion the rights of every woman and girl. Your voice, your presence, and your participation make a meaningful difference.

Together, let us make these 18 days—and every day beyond—count in creating a society where everyone can live free from fear and violence. 🧡💜

Gender Mainstreaming! 💜🩷

“For us, gender equality is now part of our DNA—in our programs, budgets, communication, and data.”

UN Country Team Resident Coordinator Mr. Arnaud Peral shared how the journey of gender mainstreaming, once unclear, is now fully embedded across strategies and actions.

In his Message of Support at the 5th GFPS Convention on September 2, 2025 at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Quezon City, he emphasized the progress made and the importance of sustaining this commitment to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment. 💜
