SLPPO Nabs 4 Wanted Persons in One Day Police Operation
CAMP BANTUG, MAASIN CITY – In its intensified campaign against wanted persons, the Southern Leyte Police Provincial Office , under the leadership of PCOL EMMANUEL P CAQUILALA, Officer-In-Charge, successfully apprehended three (3) Other Wanted Persons in separate police operations conducted provincewide as part of the Manhunt Charlie operation.
In Sogod, Southern Leyte, personnel of Sogod MPS arrested the province's No. 8 Most Wanted Person (MWP). The accused is a 16 years old, single and ALS student by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Attempted R**e, issued by the Presiding Judge, RTC, Eight Judicial Region, Branch 39, Sogod, Southern Leyte with recommended bail of Php 120,000.00.
Elements of the 2nd Southern Leyte Provincial Mobile Force Company (SLPMFC), as the Lead Unit, together with personnel of Hinunangan Municipal Police Station (MPS), arrested a 38-year-old male, single, seaman, and resident of Brgy. Mercedes, Silago, Southern Leyte. The accused was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property with Slight Physical Injuries, issued by the Presiding Judge of the Municipal Trial Court, Eighth Judicial Region, Dulag, Leyte, with a recommended bail of Php 3,000.00.
Meanwhile, the Maasin City Police Station Tracker Team apprehended a 28-year-old male, single, motorcab driver, and resident of Brgy. Asuncion, Maasin City. The operation was conducted by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Municipal Ordinance, Section 1, Paragraph (A), Article 10 of Municipal Ordinance No. 2017-02, issued by the Presiding Judge of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Eighth Judicial Region, Macrohon-Padre Burgos-Limasawa.
In a separate operation, joint personnel of Macrohon MPS, as the Lead Unit, together with the SLPPO-Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), arrested a 33-year-old male, single, jobless, and resident of Brgy. Ilihan, Macrohon, Southern Leyte. The accused was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Municipal Ordinance, Section 1, Paragraph (A), Article 10 of Municipal Ordinance No. 2017-02, issued by the Presiding Judge of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Eighth Judicial Region, Macrohon-Padre Burgos-Limasawa.
The three (3) arrested individuals were brought to the respective police stations for proper documentation prior turn-over to their turn-over to the issuing court.
The successful operations underscore the SLPPO’s sustained commitment to intensifying its manhunt operations and ensuring that wanted persons are brought before the courts to face the charges against them.
