July 09, 2026 โ€” The Political Science Society โ€“ Civitas et Agora officially opened the Academic Year 2026โ€“2027 by holding its First Organizational Assembly, which welcomed the freshmen students.

The assembly introduced the organization's plans and activities for the academic year, focusing on leadership, academic excellence, civic engagement, and community engagement. Important organizational policies, attendance guidelines, and financial responsibilities were also discussed.

The event featured Mr. Xianne Fernandez, a Political Science alumnus and a volunteer of G-Watch Southern Leyte, who delivered an inspiring message on advocacy, community development, and the vital role of the youth in promoting good governance and accountability.

The assembly concluded successfully and marked the beginning of a productive academic year, reaffirming the Political Science Society's commitment to developing responsible leaders, active citizens, and future public servants.
