The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) – Mabini Municipal Operations Office, in partnership with the DSWD Field Office XI Regional Program Management Office and the Provincial Operations Office of Davao de Oro, successfully conducted the Breakthrough 2026: Graduation and Exit Ceremony on August 6, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium, Mabini, Davao de Oro, with the theme, "Mula sa Pangarap Tungo sa Tagumpay: Pagkilala sa Matatag na Paglalakbay ng Pamilyang 4Ps."

The ceremony honored 258 partner-beneficiary families as they officially graduated and exited from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), recognizing their resilience, perseverance, and achievements toward self-reliance and an improved quality of life.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the inspiring testimony of Pamilyang Amistad, the Huwarang Pamilya ng Davao de Oro, shared by Ms. Nenita P. Amistad. She recounted their family's journey of resilience, perseverance, and transformation, demonstrating how determination, family unity, and the support of the 4Ps have empowered them to achieve a better and more self-reliant life.

The Panata ng mga Nagtapos sa 4Ps was led by Vivian S. MindaΓ±a, a graduating 4Ps beneficiary from Barangay Cuambog. Together, the graduates reaffirmed their commitment to becoming responsible, productive, and empowered members of their communities while expressing their gratitude for the support they received and their dedication to sustaining the positive changes they have achieved.

A significant highlight of the event was the symbolic turnover of case folders and family intervention documents to the Municipal Local Government Unit of Mabini, represented by MSWDO Head Virgencita M. Chu, RSW, MPA. This symbolic turnover signifies the LGU's continued commitment to providing sustained after-care services and ensuring that graduating families continue to receive the support they need beyond the program.

Messages of support were delivered by the representative of Romejames Q. Agco, MBA, Chief Executive Officer of Romjames Marketing and Gina P. Sevillano, EdD, District Head, Department of Education (DepEd). They congratulated the graduating families and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening partnerships that promote lifelong learning, sustainable livelihoods, and self-reliant communities.

In celebration of the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples and Buwan ng Wika, the graduates proudly wore traditional cultural attire representing the Kagan and Mansaka Indigenous Cultural Communities, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the municipality and promoting inclusivity, diversity, and cultural pride.

The ceremony served not only as a celebration of the graduates' accomplishments but also as a reminder that graduation from the program is not the end of their journeyβ€”it is the beginning of a new chapter filled with resilience, opportunity, and hope for a brighter future.

On June 11, 2026, the DSWD 4Ps MOO Mabini successfully conducted an Exit Conference for graduating and exiting 4Ps families at the Mayor’s Conference Room, Municipal Hall, Mabini, Davao de Oro. The activity was actively participated by partner stakeholders from local government units, private offices, and various institutions, showing strong support for the transitioning families.

The conference served as a platform to recognize the progress and achievements of the 4Ps families as they move toward self-sufficiency. It also highlighted their current status, the interventions they have received, and the remaining areas or SWDI gaps where support is still needed. Moreover, it strengthened linkages to available public and private offices’ programs and services, helping ensure that families continue to receive guidance even after exiting the program.

In addition, the representatives from LGU Mabini and partner organizations expressed their commitment to supporting these families through accessible, appropriate, and inclusive services. They shared various opportunities such as community-based skills training, employment opportunities, FFEDIS registration, YAKAP Program enrollment, awareness seminars, counseling services on VAW/C and GAD-related concerns, disaster preparedness training, and emergency assistance. Thus, this activity reflects the collaboration between DSWD, LGU Mabini, and its partners in empowering 4Ps families.

Together, we continue working to make sure no family is left behind as they transition to a more stable and self-sufficient life.
