LANTAW: Implementasyon sa “NO GAMBLING POLICY” atol sa kapistahan sa Parokya San Miguel Arkanghel.

Sa ngalan sa Municipal Mayor, kining buhatan nakadawat ug sulat gikan sa Parokya ni San Miguel Arkanghel mahitungod sa umaabot nga ika-55 nga kapistahan nga ipahigayon gikan sa Setyembre 20, 2025 hangtod Setyembre 29, 2025.

Uban sa tema, "Sr. San Miguel Arkanghel: Giya sa Malaumong Simbahan nga Nagapanaw Padulong sa Amahan," ug sa ilang hangyo nga mapreserbar ang espiritu sa pagtuo, panaghiusa, ug kultural nga pagpahayag sa komunidad, istriktong ipatuman nato ang “No Gambling Policy.”

Palihug hinumdumi nga kini nga palisiya ipatuman pag-ayo sulod sa Munisipyo sa Mabuhay gikan Setyembre 20, 2025 hangtod Setyembre 29, 2025. Kini nagdili sa tanang matang sa sugal sama sa mga dula sa baraha, pagpusta, sabong, ug uban pang mga dula nga adunay kalambigitan sa pagpusta.

JUST IN: Malacañang, in Memorandum Circular 96 issued Friday (Sept. 19, 2025), suspends work in government offices in the executive branch starting 1 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 22), for the "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day".

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 326, issued in 2012, declaring the last week of September of every year as Family Week and the fourth Monday of September as "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day".

Mayor Edreluisa O. Caloñge and Engr. Eggardo Cole, MPDC joined the DEVDep Quarterly Meeting for the proposal of the Mabuhay Hostel. If granted, this project will create a significant impact on the municipality. The establishment of a hostel in Mabuhay will not only provide affordable and accessible accommodation for visitors and travelers, but it will also help boost local tourism and economic activity. It can generate employment opportunities for residents, increase revenue for small businesses, and enhance the overall image of Mabuhay as a hospitable and progressive town.

Got a firsthand look at Laoag City’s impressive leap toward sustainable waste management! 🌍♻️

We toured their sanitary landfill and learned about the operation of their new pyrolysis plant, a cutting-edge facility that converts solid waste into useful by-products like ash, which is expected to be utilized for fertilizers, paver blocks, and hollow blocks soon. This technology not only reduces landfill usage but also transforms trash into valuable resources.

Thank you to Mayor James Bryan Alcid and the Laoag City officials for welcoming us with open arms. We’re especially grateful to our host, City Councilor Atty. Juan Conrado Respicio II, for the warm reception.🫶🏻

We visited the Municipality of Narvacan to pay a courtesy visit to Mayor Hon. Edna Sanidad. We were brought to their world-class farmers’ market, where we learned valuable best practices that we can adopt in Mabuhay, especially in market management. The market is fully solar-powered, which truly inspired our participants.

We also had insightful discussions with their Municipal Agriculture Officer (MAO) about their to***co plantation and the many benefits it brings to their community. To better understand their operations, we even visited one of their to***co harvest facilities.

During our lunch break, we were treated to a sumptuous lunch sponsored by Manong Chavit Singson at his Santorini-inspired residence, where we were also given a tour of the beautiful property. Interestingly, this stunning residence was once a filming location for Ang Probinsyano by Coco Martin and Ang Panday by the late FPJ.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to LGU Narvacan for their warm hospitality and abundant generosity, and to Manong Chavit for the delightful lunch he prepared for us.🙏🏻
