Twenty-three Marine Biology students from Samar State University (SSU)-Mercedes Campus successfully wrapped up their 144-hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) with a culmination program yesterday, July 7, 2026, at the Provincial Multi-Species Marine Fish Hatchery in San Roque, Macrohon.
The activity officially marks the end of the OJT stint of their Marine Biology Program for the 2nd Semester, Academic Year 2025-2026, signaling a strengthened partnership between the Provincial Agricultural Services Office (PAgSO) and SSU-Mercedes Campus.
The program was attended by SSU-Mercedes Campus Faculty Members/Program Coordinators led by Ms. Noeme D. Pajarillo, Supervising Agriculturist Fe Alin T. Dalangin, and Senior Agriculturist Ruel L. Natividad. As part of the event, the student trainees presented the highlights and actual hands-on experiences they gained throughout their time at the hatchery.
