TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF POWER CURTAILMENT / ROTATIONAL BROWNOUT

TO ALL LASURECO MEMBER-CONSUMERS:

Please be informed that, in line with the collaborative efforts of the National Electrification Administration (NEA), Lanao del Sur Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LASURECO), and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), the implementation of power curtailment and/or rotational brownout within the entire LASURECO franchise area will be TEMPORARY SUSPENDED during the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Elections period.

This temporary suspension shall be observed from:
SEPTEMBER 1 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2026

The initiative is intended to help ensure a stable, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply throughout the LASURECO franchise area during the election period and to support the peaceful and orderly conduct of the BARMM Elections.

However, consumers are advised that unplanned power interruptions may still occur due to unforeseen circumstances, emergency situations, equipment failure, faults, adverse weather conditions, transmission or distribution line problems, and other circumstances beyond the control of LASURECO.

LASURECO sincerely appreciates the cooperation, understanding, and continued support of all its member-consumers as the Cooperative, together with NEA and NGCP, works toward maintaining reliable electric service throughout this significant period.

Let us all work together for a peaceful, safe, and successful BARMM Elections.

THIS IS WHEN FASHION BECOMES MORE THAN FASHION 👏💖

At the 73rd Miss World Festival in Vietnam, Miss World Uganda Trivia Elle Muhoza made a statement that went far beyond fashion.

She wore “Layers of Life,” a couture gown created by Ugandan designer Keesha Abdallah to represent the seven layers involved in a C-section—from the skin and fat to the fascia, muscle, peritoneum, uterus and amniotic sac.

The idea was deeply personal.

Abdallah, herself a new mother, was inspired by the miracle of childbirth and wanted to turn the medical reality of a C-section into something people could see, understand and appreciate. 🥹🙏

For Muhoza, the gown also fit her advocacy for women and maternal health.

Instead of wearing something designed only to impress, she chose something designed to say something. 👏

And the message reached the judges too.

“Layers of Life” went on to win the prestigious World Designer Award, giving the concept an even bigger global platform. 🥰

Because sometimes the most powerful fashion isn't simply beautiful.

It tells a story, starts a conversation and reminds millions of people to appreciate what mothers’ bodies endure to bring new life into the world. ❤️

The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) through its Madalum Municipal Operations Office continues the weekly delivery and distribution of food supplies under the 16th Cycle Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) for 600 learners from 33 Child Development Centers in Madalum, Lanao del Sur on September 1, 2026 at Sarustan Gym, Madalum, Lanao del Sur

For Week 3, food supplies including rice, fish, chicken, eggs, cooking oil, sayote, garlic, onion, mung bean, and squash were distributed to support the preparation of nutritious meals for our young learners.

With weekly deliveries continuing for 18 weeks or approximately six months, the program aims to provide sustained nutritional support throughout its 180-day implementation period.
