📢 LEVELING UP OUR PUBLIC SERVICE: APCAS TRAINING IN MADRIDEJOS! 📄✨

Great news, Lawisanons! Modernization is officially hitting our Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) to bring you faster, more efficient government services.

We are currently conducting the APCAS Training right here in the Municipality of Madridejos!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to our proactive leader, Mayor Romeo Villaceran, for his dedication to bringing this innovative program to our town. Because of his vision for a digital and citizen-centered Madridejos, correcting our important documents will now be easier than ever!

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for partnering with us and empowering our local staff with this cutting-edge system.

🤔 What exactly is APCAS?

APCAS stands for Administrative Petition for Correction Automated System.

It is a brand-new, web-based digital platform launched by the PSA that replaces old, manual paperwork with a streamlined electronic workflow.

Every corrected record means a Lawisanon gaining hassle-free access to passports, school enrollment, employment, and social benefits!

Ang Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) ug MSWDO Madridejos, kauban ang Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), nagdapit sa tanang ginikanan ug guardian sa Madridejos, Cebu nga magpa-rehistro sa ilang mga anak nga 0–7 years old sa FREE Late Registration of Live Birth program.

🔹 I-secure ang legal nga identidad sa imong anak
🔹 Ma-access ang edukasyon, healthcare, ug serbisyo gikan sa gobyerno

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Central Visayas warns the public against the production, sale, possession, and use of fake National IDs, and reminds everyone that the National ID is an official government-issued identification card under the Philippine Identification System or the National ID System.

Only the PSA is authorized to print and issue the National ID. Any individual or group found guilty of unauthorized printing, preparation, or issuance of a National ID can be penalized with imprisonment of three (3) to six (6) years and a fine ranging from Php 1,000,000 to Php 3,000,000 as provided under Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act.

The same penalties apply to the falsification, mutilation, alteration, or tampering of the National ID, as well as the possession of a fake, falsified, or altered National ID.
