PSAU is opening the second batch of students for the Language and Cultural Immersion Program in Kaohsiung, Taiwan!
In partnership with I-Shou University, the program will bring 30 PSAU students from across the University’s seven colleges to Taiwan for a two-week experience in language, culture, learning, and international engagement.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the call for applications to the Global Consumer Intelligence (GCI) Course offered by the Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory of the University of Tokyo, Japan.

The GCI Course is a free, English-language introductory program on artificial intelligence (AI) and data science, covering foundational topics such as Python, machine learning, and business applications. Supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the course provides students with an opportunity to strengthen their foundational knowledge and skills in AI and data science.

The Ulleung Global English Camp, facilitated by Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) in partnership with Handong Global University, culminated in a meaningful graduation and certificate awarding ceremony for participating students and professionals in Ulleung, Republic of Korea.

The ceremony celebrated the participants’ commitment and achievements throughout the camp, featuring English language sessions, interactive learning activities, cultural exchange, and opportunities to build international friendships.

Representing PSAU throughout the camp were Ms. Mina Lyn G. Alviz, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Alawi C. Canlas, Director for Admission and Registration Services; Dr. Arnello S. Valerio, Director for Student Affairs and Services; and Asst. Prof. Carlo D. De Dios, Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages. As PSAU English instructors and facilitators, they led the learning sessions and supported participants throughout the program.

The culmination marks not only the completion of a week of learning but also the strengthening of connections among PSAU, Handong Global University, and the Ulleung community.

Namaste! Pursue advanced studies in agriculture and allied sciences in India through the ASEAN-India Fellowship for Higher Education in Agriculture and Allied Sciences.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the call for applications to the ASEAN-India Fellowship for Higher Education in Agriculture and Allied Sciences for Academic Year 2026–2027, offered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

This fellowship program supports ASEAN nationalsβ€”both fresh graduates and in-service candidatesβ€”in pursuing a two-year master's degree program at select top Indian agricultural universities. It aims to provide quality research-based education, cross-cultural knowledge exchange, and capacity building across key agricultural and allied disciplines including plant sciences, biotechnology, veterinary sciences, food technology, fisheries, and agricultural engineering.

Selected fellows will receive full financial support which covers round-trip international airfare, local transportation, a monthly stipend, annual contingency allowances, and hostel accommodation.

π—Ÿπ—’π—’π—ž | PSAU Facilitates Evening English Classes for Ulleung Students and Professionals

The Ulleung English Camp, facilitated by Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) in partnership with Handong Global University, continues with engaging evening English language sessions for students and professionals in Ulleung, Republic of Korea.

Led by PSAU's English instructors and facilitators, the sessions provide participants with opportunities to develop their communication skills through interactive lessons, discussions, and activities designed to make language learning meaningful and engaging.

Beyond improving English proficiency, the week-long classes foster confidence, intercultural understanding, and meaningful connections between PSAU and the Ulleung community.

Through faculty mobility and international academic engagement, PSAU continues to share its expertise beyond borders while strengthening global partnerships and advancing transformative learning, in support of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) held an exploratory meeting with Kim Won-ki, Mayor of Uijeongbu City, South Korea, on July 25, 2026, to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the city and the University.

The discussion explored opportunities for agriculture-related collaboration and the possibility of hosting English camps at PSAU for students and professionals from Uijeongbu City, opening avenues for knowledge exchange, skills development, cultural understanding, and international learning.

Representing PSAU were Ms. Mina Lyn G. Alviz, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Alawi C. Canlas, Director for Admission and Registration Services; Dr. Arnello S. Valerio, Director for Student Affairs and Services; and Asst. Prof. Carlo D. De Dios, Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages, who were part of the University's delegation to the Ulleung English Camp.

The exploratory engagement opens new avenues for PSAU to expand its international network and establish potential partnerships with local governments and institutions in South Korea, supporting the University's continuing commitment to global engagement and internationalization.
