This moment served as a celebration of the hard work, participation, talents, sportsmanship, creativity, and achievements of our young people throughout the different activities of LNK 2026.

Every award represents more than a certificate, medal, or recognition—it represents the effort, dedication, courage, and willingness to participate shown by our youth.

As part of the Sangguniang Kabataan Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the youth of Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte gathered together for a fun and meaningful Dinner Boodle Fight!

More than just sharing a meal, the boodle fight brought everyone together around one table—creating moments of camaraderie, friendship, laughter, and togetherness. With food shared among everyone, the activity reflected the Filipino spirit of “bayanihan” and the joy of being part of one community.

After a day filled with learning, games, creativity, and youth participation, this dinner became a perfect opportunity for everyone to relax, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. 💙

The Sangguniang Kabataan Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 became even more vibrant as the young people of Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte took center stage for the much-awaited YOUTH SHOWCASE!

This activity provided a space for our youth to confidently express themselves and share their unique talents, skills, creativity, and passion. From impressive performances to memorable moments on stage, each participant showed that the youth of Barangay Sto. Niño have so much potential worth celebrating. 💙

As part of the Sangguniang Kabataan Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the youth of Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte came together for a fun-filled and meaningful Laro ng Lahi Games!

The activity brought our young people together through traditional Filipino games that encouraged teamwork, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and active participation. From laughter to friendly competition, the participants enjoyed every moment while celebrating the games that have been part of our Filipino culture and childhood.

🏛️✨ 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐆𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍: 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃!

As part of the Sangguniang Kabataan Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the youth of Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte took part in an engaging and meaningful talk session entitled “Understanding the Sangguniang Kabataan,” facilitated by Vincent P. Baclayon.

The session provided the participants with a deeper understanding of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), including its history, roles, functions, responsibilities, and other important information about youth governance. The discussion also introduced the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) and the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP), emphasizing their importance in planning and implementing programs that respond to the needs and aspirations of the youth.

The participants were also introduced to the 10 Centers of Youth Participation, helping them understand the different areas where youth programs and initiatives can be developed and strengthened. 💙

But the learning did not stop with discussion! 🙌

Vincent P. Baclayon also facilitated a hands-on ABYIP Workshop, where the participants were challenged to step into the shoes of an SK Council. For the activity, they worked together as if they were the actual council, identified youth needs and priorities, proposed programs and activities, and created their own ABYIP.

Through this workshop, the youth were given a glimpse of what it takes to become an effective youth leader—from identifying community needs to planning programs, allocating resources, and making decisions for the benefit of their fellow young people.

✨ Leadership is not only about knowing how to lead—it is also about knowing how to plan, listen, decide, and serve.

🌊💚 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓, 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄!

As part of the Sangguniang Kabataan Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the youth of Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte came together for a meaningful Coastal Clean-Up Drive at Pink Beach Resort.

With teamwork, unity, and a shared commitment to protecting our environment, young volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped remove waste and litter along the shoreline. This activity reminds us that caring for our environment starts with simple actions and collective responsibility.

The Coastal Clean-Up Drive is more than just picking up trash—it is about building environmental awareness, encouraging responsible habits, and inspiring the youth to become active stewards of our coastal resources.

𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐕𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐕𝐎𝐓𝐄, 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒!

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) – Magallanes, led by Marivic Salise Perez, Election Officer III, together with her dedicated team, successfully conducted an engaging and informative talk session during the Sangguniang Kabataan Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 at Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte.

With the theme “Youth Voter Education: Know Your Vote, Know Your Rights,” the session aimed to empower the youth with the knowledge and awareness they need to become informed, responsible, and active voters. 🇵🇭

The COMELEC team also discussed the six (6) modules of the BATA Program – “Bumoto Ayon sa Tama,” through an interactive PowerPoint presentation. The discussion highlighted the importance of understanding our voting rights, responsibilities, and the power of making informed choices at the polls. Know your vote. Know your rights. Vote according to what is right.

A responsible voter is an informed voter. And an informed youth is a powerful force in shaping the future of our community and our country.
