July 21, 2026 || Earthquake and Fire Drill

Look: Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) in partnership with the BFP Personnel, successfully conducted an Earthquake and Fire Drill at the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Barangay Buhang, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte.

The activity aimed to enhance the preparedness, awareness, and emergency response capabilities of RHU personnel through the proper ex*****on of earthquake and fire evacuation procedures.

Together, let us continue building a safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready community.

July 17, 2026 || 3rd Mayor Bubu Rescuelympics 2026

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), headed by Jessie M. Rodas, successfully conducted the 3rd Mayor Bubu Rescuelympics 2026 at Eco Park, Barangay Sto. Niño, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte, in partnership with national government agencies.

On behalf of Mayor Hon. Cesar "Bubu" CumbaJr. and the Vice Mayor Hon. Reynaldo T. Salon, SB Member Hon. Keefe Blue R. Leonar attended and represented the municipal official during the event.

With the participation of 8 barangay teams and 2 schools, the Rescuelympics strengthened disaster preparedness, teamwork, and emergency response skills among our local responders and youth.

Special thanks to Mayor Cesar "Bubu" Cumba Jr. for his unwavering support and commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness and resilience in the Municipality of Magallanes. Your leadership continues to inspire initiatives that help build a safer and more resilient community.

LOOK: The Magallanes Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), together with the Magallanes Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), conducted an Earthquake Drill and Fire Drill at Clinica Jesus Nazareno (CJN) as requested by the Hospital to test their Earthquake and Fire Preparedness and Evacuation Plan. The said activity was participated in by 15 individuals with Administrative Officer Mrs. Ruby C. Baylosis & Nurses and staff.
