🌟 LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 🌟
“Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation through Technology and Partnerships”

The Municipality of Mamasapano, in partnership with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), successfully celebrated Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 on August 12–13, 2026.

The two-day celebration brought together students from Mamasapano National High School, Maulana National High School, and Hadji Salik Kalaing National High School, along with SK Officials and members of various youth organizations in Mamasapano.

The participants engaged in meaningful learning sessions on Child Rights, Child Protection, CEFM, Disaster and Conflict Mitigation, Anti-Drug Abuse Awareness, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the Role of Youth in Achieving Global Goals.

The celebration continued with the Youth Leadership Festival, featuring the Quiz Bee, Jingle Contest, Advocacy Video Challenge, Parlor Games, and Amazing Race—activities that encouraged leadership, creativity, teamwork, collaboration, and camaraderie among the youth. 💙

More than a celebration, Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 served as a platform to empower young people, amplify their voices, strengthen partnerships, and inspire meaningful youth participation in building a peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable Mamasapano.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Akmad A. Ampatuan Jr., Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Akmad M. Ampatuan Sr., Municipal Vice Mayor, for their unwavering support and commitment to the welfare and development of the children and youth of Mamasapano.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to all students, SK Officials, youth organizations, school partners, resource speakers, facilitators, participating offices, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful celebration.

Ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Mamasapano ay namahagi ng mga gamot katuwang ang Rhu Mamasapano para sa ating mga kababayan na naapektuhan ng matinding pagbaha at armadong labanan sa Barangay Tukanalipao at Barangay Pimbalkan, Mamasapano, Maguindanao del Sur.

Ang agarang pagtugon ng ating Lokal na Pamahalaan sa liderato ng ating butihing Mayor Datu Akmad A. Ampatuan, Jr. ay patunay ng ating malasakit at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod, lalo na sa oras ng pangangailangan. Nawa'y makatulong ang ipinamahaging gamot at ayuda upang maibsan ang hirap na dinaranas ng mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng kalamidad.

Patuloy nating ipanalangin ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa at manatiling handa sa anumang sakuna. Sama-sama tayong babangon at magtutulungan para sa isang ligtas at matatag na Mamasapano.

Today, Local Government Unit of Mamasapano together with Rhu Mamasapano successfully conducted a Mobile Blood Donation Activity.
We are proud to share that 74 generous individuals successfully donated blood. Your selfless act will help save many lives. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this meaningful activity! 🙏❤️

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our very supportive & generous Mayor Hon. Datu Akmad "Datu Bots" A. Ampatuan, Jr., Municipal Administrator Datu Andal Ampatuan III, SB Member Hon.Tohamie Masukat, to all 14 Punong Barangays, for their unwavering support & commitment to Municipal Blood Program, together with Mnao Sittie Alma Tan whose dedication made this activity a success.

The Nutrition Month Celebration served as a reminder that good nutrition, strong community involvement, and shared values all play important roles in building a healthier, more resilient, and united.

06 July 2026 | Municipality of Mamasapano Convenes 2027 CBMS Municipal Coordinating Board (MCCB) held at Mamasapano Training Center

The Municipality of Mamasapano, in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Maguindanao, successfully convened the 2027 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Municipal Coordinating Board (MCCB) to strengthen coordination and prepare for the implementation of the 2027 CBMS.

The activity highlighted the objectives, scope, legal bases, data privacy provisions, and the roles and responsibilities of the Municipal Coordinating Board in ensuring the successful conduct of the CBMS. The meeting also served as a venue to reinforce the commitment of the local government and partner agencies in generating accurate and reliable data for evidence-based planning and improved public service delivery.

The convening concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work together toward the successful implementation of the 2027 CBMS in the Municipality of Mamasapano.

The Local Government Unit of Mamasapano, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Mayor DATU AKMAD A. AMPATUAN, JR. & Hon. Vice Mayor AKMAD M. AMPATUAN, SR., proudly & actively joins the nationwide celebration of the 52nd National Nutrition Month this July 2026. This year's event runs under the overarching theme "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" and the specific sub-theme:
"NUTRISYON AT KALIKASAN, ATING PANGALAGAAN!"

In support of this year's celebration, the Office of the Municipal Nutrition Action, headed by Municipal Nutrition Action Officer Mnao Sittie Alma Tan, officially installed the 2026 Nutrition Month tarpaulin at the Municipal Hall, marking the start of the municipality's month-long observance.

This activity demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the Local Government Unit of Mamasapano to promote food and nutrition security, encourage healthy eating practices, and strengthen collaborative efforts among government agencies, barangays, schools, partner organizations, and the community in achieving better nutrition for all.

The Local Government Unit of Mamasapano invites everyone to actively participate in the various Nutrition Month activities and work together in building a healthier, stronger, and more resilient Municipality of Mamasapano.

2nd Quarter Peace & Security Cluster Meeting (MPOC, MADAC, MDRRMC, MESWMC, PLEB)

The joint meeting of the MPOC, MADAC, MDRRMC, MESWMC and PLEB spearheaded by MAYOR HON. AKMAD A. AMPATUAN, JR. & VICE MAYOR HON. AKMAD M. AMPATUAN, SR. held at Mamasapano Training Center, Mamasapano, Maguindanao del Sur.

Topic discussed were the updates on Peace and Order situation in the area of responsibility of Mamasapano Municipality, updates on Public Safety and Security, updates on Barangay Drug Clearing, Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Report, Insurgency Prevention and Community Security, POC Audit Updates, Barangay Updates, Plans/Programs, Line agencies update, presentation of accomplishments and other important matters.
