PRO 12 Top 7 Most Wanted Person Linked to RMFB 12 Ambush Arrested in Ampatuan

MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR PPO β€” Through a joint effort led by the Maguindanao del Sur Police Provincial Office (MDSPPO) under the direct supervision of PCOL MICHAEL JOHN C MANGAHIS, Provincial Director, together with RMFB 12 under the supervision of PCOL SAMUEL T CADUNGON, Force Commander, RMFB 12, authorities successfully apprehended a high-value wanted person implicated in the deadly ambush of RMFB 12 personnel in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.

The arrest was carried out at around 4:40 PM on August 18, 2026, in Barangay Poblacion, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur. The accused, identified as Norhamin Dalgan, alias β€œOgie,” 19 years old, a resident of Barangay Mao, Datu Abdullah Sangki, is currently listed as the Top 7 Most Wanted Person at the Regional Level of PRO 12.

Dalgan faces Murder charges under Criminal Case Nos. 26-9288-LA and 26-9289-LA, issued by Hon. Felix Factor Mesa, Acting Presiding Judge of Branch 20, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat. The charges stem from the brazen ambush of two RMFB 12 personnel in Barangay Tinumigues, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, on July 12, 2026. He is currently detained at the Ampatuan MPS detention facility, pending commitment order and court hearing.

Background intelligence revealed that Dalgan operated under Marhom Ismael , a notorious leader of the Dawlah Islamiyah - Hassan Group (DI-HG), who was previously neutralized during the implementation of a warrant of arrest, alongside Halim Sansawi Usman (from whom PNP-issued fi****ms belonging to RMFB 12 personnel were recovered) and Ali Hassan, all listed as Top Most Wanted Persons. Technical and human intelligence confirmed Dalgan’s direct role as the β€œfacilitator” in the brutal killing of RMFB 12 personnel, with other perpetrators also identified for follow-up operations.

β€œThose who dare attack our uniformed personnel and spread violence will never escape justice. We will hunt them down relentlessly, wherever they hide, until peace and security prevail in every community. Criminals must know β€” you know who you are, but most importantly we know who you are… you are accountable, and the law will always catch up with you.” PCOL MANGAHIS declared.
