πŸ“ΈπŸŽ“ The ceremony ended. The memories didn't.

Part 13 (Last Part): Random Photos
πŸ“ Manobo NHS | March 30, 2026

Togas half-removed. Sashes hanging loose. Laughter with friends, last hugs with teachers, parents fixing their own ribbons one more time. No more program. No more script. Just graduates being graduates β€” smiling, crying, posing, embracing. These random frames hold what no speech could say: they made it. Together.

Part 12: Last Dance – "Level Up, Salamat"
πŸ“ Manobo NHS | March 30, 2026

The program was over. But the graduates weren't ready to leave. The music played β€” Level Up, Salamat β€” and they danced like no one was watching. Togas swayed. Sashes flew. Parents clapped along. Teachers laughed. This wasn't a number on the script. It was joy, raw and real. A final celebration before goodbye. Level up, indeed. Salamat, Manobo NHS. 🎢

Part 11: Group Photo Opportunity
πŸ“ Manobo NHS | March 30, 2026

Togas fixed. Sashes straight. Ribbons, medals, and diploma cases were held close. Graduates, parents, teachers, officials β€” all squeezed into one frame. A thousand smiles, a thousand stories. One photo to keep forever.

Part 10: Pledge of Loyalty & Alumni Oath
πŸ“ Manobo NHS | March 30, 2026

They pledged to honor their school, their parents, their community. Then they took the Alumni Oath β€” led by a fellow alumna. When the words ended, they were no longer just graduates. They were Manobo NHS alumni. Forever.

Part 9: Graduation Keynote Speaker – Melyn S. Guabong, LPT
πŸ“ Manobo National High School | March 30, 2026 | 1:00 P.M.
πŸ“œ DepEd Prescribed Theme: "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character"

After the tribute song faded, after the last "Salamat, Ma, Pa" echoed through the venue, the master of ceremony called a name that made the graduates sit up a little straighter.

Melyn S. Guabong, LPT.

Not a stranger. An alumna β€” Class of 2014.
Twelve years ago, she sat where they now sat. She wore the same toga, the same sash. She walked the same stage, nervous and hopeful.

Now she stood behind the podium β€” a licensed professional teacher, a daughter of Manobo NHS, a living proof that graduates from this school can go places and still come back.

She spoke not as a guest, but as a kababayan. She reminded them of the DepEd theme: "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character."

She broke it down simply:
Competence β€” the skills they learned in SHS, the work immersion, the research, the sleepless nights.
Character β€” the honesty, the resilience, the bayanihan, the love for family and community.

She stepped away from the podium and gave a quiet "Salamat, Manobo NHS."
Then she returned to her seat β€” not as a speaker, but as a proud alumna, sitting among her own people.

That afternoon, the graduates did not just hear a speech.
They saw a mirror.
They saw what they could become.

Part 8: Tribute to Parents – Graduates Singing "Ma, Pa, Salamat"
πŸ“ Manobo National High School | March 30, 2026 | 1:00 P.M.

The medals had been pinned. The diplomas had been given. But the ceremony was not complete without this.

The graduates rose as one β€” togas still flowing, sashes still proud, ribbons still glowing on both them and their parents. They faced the audience not as awardees, not as honorees, but as children.

And then they sang.

🎡 "Ma, Pa, Salamat / Nay, Tay, Salamat"

The first notes were soft. Then stronger. Some graduates closed their eyes. Others locked their gaze on their mothers and fathers.

🎡 "Sayo sa buntag, nimata na / Tibuok nga oras, gihatag mo kanako"

In the audience, parents clutched their own ribbons. Fathers who hadn't cried all afternoon finally broke. Mothers held their chests as if their hearts might leap out.

🎡 "Sa’kong pagkatagak, ako giagak mo / Sa kada luha, imong gikuha ang kasubo"

Graduates reached for their parents' hands. A few stepped down from their seats to kneel beside their mothers. An old man in a barong wiped his eyes with a handkerchief.

🎡 "Way paglubad ang gugmang gihatag / Pagsakripisyo, ug ang inyong pag-amuma / Kamo ang bugtong hinungdan"

The singing grew louder, braver. Some voices cracked. Nobody cared.

🎡 "Kung asa ko karon / Ug kung kinsa ko karon / Ang tanan kong naangkon / Ug kung asa ko padulong"

A graduate held up her diploma case toward her father. Another pointed to his medal, then to his mother β€” "Para sa'yo 'to."

🎡 "Ma, Pa, Salamat / Nay, Tay Salamat"

Then the final verses β€” a flood of gratitude and love:

🎡 "Bisag unsa ka badlungon, imong gisabot / Bisag asa mapadpad, imo kong gisunod / Wala pasagdi, wala biya-i / Bisan sa kawad-on, kami inyong bahandi / Asa kaha ko karon kung wala pa mo"

By now, there was no dry eye in the venue. Teachers embraced each other. Barangay officials bowed their heads. The school head removed her glasses to wipe them.

🎡 "Di maingon akong pasalamat / Di masukod ang akong paghigugma / Ihalad ko ang kadaugan"

The graduates held the last notes like a promise:

🎡 "Mama, Papa, Nanay, Tatay / Akong ihalad kaninyo"

Silence. Then thunderous applause. But the graduates weren't clapping. They were hugging their parents β€” tightly, fiercely, as if letting go would mean losing everything they had just said.

This was not a performance. This was a homecoming.
Togas, sashes, ribbons, medals, diploma cases β€” all of it meant nothing without the two words that ended the song:
Salamat, Ma. Salamat, Pa.

Shorter version:

Then the graduates sang. Not as scholars. Not as awardees. But as children.
🎡 "Ma, Pa, Salamat / Nay, Tay, Salamat"

Part 7: Glimpse During the Ceremony
πŸ“ Manobo National High School | March 30, 2026 | 1:00 P.M.

Between the speeches and the applause, between the marching and the awarding β€” there were the quiet glimpses.

There were tears β€” quick, hidden, then wiped away.
There were laughs β€” too loud, unstoppable, real.
There were hands held under chairs, prayers whispered into palms, and feet tapping to a rhythm only the nervous could hear.

These were the glimpses. The in-between moments.
Just the pulse of a community celebrating together.

Because a graduation is not only in the formalities.
It lives in the glances, the sighs, the small smiles β€”
the things no script can ever capture.

Part 6D: Recognition of Academic Excellence – Awarding of Medals and Certificates
πŸ“ Manobo National High School | March 30, 2026 | 1:00 P.M.

The distribution of diplomas had ended. The applause had settled. But the stage was not finished.

A new list of names was called β€” this time, for academic excellence.

One by one, the graduates stood again. Some walked with quiet confidence. Others looked surprised, as if they had forgotten their own hard work.

Onstage, the school head and the guest speaker now held medals, boxes and folded certificates. Beside them, the teaching staff clapped louder than anyone β€” because they had seen the late nights, the crumpled papers, the quiet tears in empty classrooms.

The first medal was pinned β€” gold, silver, or bronze, depending on the honor. It caught the afternoon light and glowed against the dark toga. A certificate followed, rolled or flat, handed with both hands and a firm handshake.

Some graduates received multiple medals β€” for with honors, for highest honors, for excellence in specific subjects. Their sashes seemed to shine brighter.

Parents in the audience wept openly now. Fathers stopped pretending not to cry. Mothers clutched their own ribbons. The barangay and SK officials nodded with pride. The PTA and SGC officers smiled.

When the last medal was pinned and the last certificate awarded, the stage held a new kind of silence. Not emptiness β€” but fullness.

These graduates were not just diploma holders anymore.
They were academic achievers. Medals on their chests. Certificates in their hands. Proof that excellence lives in Manobo.
