Magsaysay Municipal Police Station joins the observance of the World Day Against Child Labor 2026 with the theme: “Ikaw, Ako, Tayo: Sama-samang Pagkilos para sa Batang Malaya.”
With the campaign message: “Red Card to Child Labour: Fair play for children, decent work for adults”

Child labor is not just a social issue. It is a challenge that calls for collective action to protect the rights, safety, and future of every child. As guardians of peace and order, the Magsaysay Municipal Police Station stands united in advocating for a community where children are free from exploitation, safe from all forms of abuse, and given every opportunity to go to school and fulfill their dreams.

We call on everyone to be alert and help protect our youth. Together, we will fight child labor and build a bright future for every child.

Republic Act No. 11313

Ang Republic Act No. 11313, o mas kilala bilang Safe Spaces Act o "Bawal Bastos Law", ay batas sa Pilipinas na nagpaparusa sa gender-based sexual harassment sa mga pampublikong lugar, online, sa trabaho, at paaralan. Layunin nitong protektahan ang lahat ng tao mula sa pambabastos, catcalling, at iba pang bastos na gawa.

Republic Act No. 9262

Ang Republic Act 9262 o "Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004" (VAWC) ay isang batas sa Pilipinas na nagpoprotekta sa mga kababaihan (asawa, dating asawa, o kasintahan) at kanilang mga anak (babae o lalaki na wala pang 18 taong gulang) mula sa pisikal, sekswal, sikolohikal, at ekonomikong pang-aabuso.

Magsaysay MPS established WCPD/Police Assistance Desks (PADs) and displayed the Aleng Pulis standee at the Catholic Church, Jardin de Rachma, and Public Market in Poblacion, Magsaysay, Lanao del Norte to assist the public, particularly women and children, during the observance of Holy Week.

Layunin nitong tiyakin ang kaligtasan at pag-unlad ng mga bata.
