Today marks the start of clearing our new main entrance pathway, located beside the Hilusig Elementary School.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to LGU Mahaplag, under the leadership of Mayor Ronaldo T. Lleve, and to the council of Brgy. Hilusig headed by Hon. Allan Roa, for their support and valuable efforts in making our campus safer and more accessible for our students and staff.

On October 13, our school was visited by the Municipal Engineering Office, headed by Engr. Marito V. Catorce, to inspect for possible structural damage following the recent earthquake. Fortunately, no major cracks were found, and the school has been declared safe as of this writing.

Just In : The Hilusig National High School Band made its first public performance today, September 28, during the Mahaplag Band Presentation, joining the town’s fiesta celebration.

Originally formed in 2024, the band faced challenges that led to a temporary pause. This year, however, through the leadership of school head Mrs. Kristina B. Piamonte, band advisers Ms. Lovell B. Marilao and Mr. John Mark Llanos, and trainor Mr. Ian Abenoja, the band has been successfully reassembled and reenergized.

To support its revival, the school acquired new instruments including drums and lyres to encourage student participation and enhance performance quality. The initiative has sparked interest among students to showcase their talents and represent the school with pride.

With support from the school community, the school also thanks Vincent Villafuerte for his valuable assistance to the band members, an act that reflects the shared commitment behind the band’s comeback.
