IN FRAME || Mahayag Municipal Fire Station shift B personnel led by our passionate Acting Municipal Fire Marshal ๐™Ž๐™๐™Š3 ๐™‡๐™š๐™–๐™ ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™š ๐™ ๐™ƒ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ ๐™–, conducted a Clean-Up Drive at Purok 7, Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The activity aimed to promote cleanliness, environmental awareness, and community participation, while helping maintain a safe and healthy surroundings for residents.

Through this initiative, the BFP continues to strengthen its commitment not only to fire prevention and public safety, but also to fostering a clean, safe, and disaster-resilient community.

IN FRAME || Mahayag Municipal Fire Station shift B personnel led by our active and passionate Acting Municipal Fire Marshal ๐™Ž๐™๐™Š3 ๐™‡๐™š๐™–๐™ ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™š ๐™ ๐™ƒ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ ๐™–, conducted Fire Square RoadShow at Mahayag School of Arts & Trade, Poblacion, Mahayag ZDS.

The activity aimed to promote fire safety awareness and preparedness among students through an interactive and informative introduction to the work of firefighters. The personnel introduced and explained the different firefighting tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) used by firefighters during fire and rescue operations. Students were also given an opportunity to become familiar with the equipment and understand their respective uses in actual emergency situations.

Through the Fire Square Roadshow, the BFP seeks to bring fire safety education closer to the community, encourage preparedness, and strengthen the studentsโ€™ appreciation and understanding of the vital role of firefighters in protecting lives and properties.

IN FRAME || Mahayag Municipal Fire Station shift B personnel led by our active and passionate Acting Municipal Fire Marshal ๐™Ž๐™๐™Š3 ๐™‡๐™š๐™–๐™ ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™š ๐™ ๐™ƒ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ ๐™–, facilitated the formation of the School Emergency Response Team (SERT) at Mahayag School of Arts and Trade, Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.
The activity aimed to establish a trained and organized school-based emergency response team capable of providing immediate assistance during fire incidents, disasters, and other emergencies.

The formation of SERT strengthens the schoolโ€™s preparedness, response capability, and coordination with emergency responders.
Through this initiative, the BFP continues to promote a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience within the school community, ensuring that students, teachers, and personnel are better equipped to respond effectively during emergencies.
