As part of the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Engr. Romeo C. Soria, together with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), distributed stainless steel water tanks with submersible pumps to the Mahayag Municipal Police Station (PNP), Mahayag Municipal Hospital (MMH), and the Mahayag Municipal Jail (BJMP).

The initiative aims to strengthen the emergency preparedness and operational resilience of these vital institutions by ensuring the availability of a reliable water supply during disasters, emergencies, and other unforeseen situations. Access to sufficient water is essential for maintaining critical operations, supporting emergency response efforts, and safeguarding the health and safety of personnel and the public they serve.

This activity highlights the local government's commitment to enhancing disaster resilience through proactive measures and collaborative partnerships. By equipping frontline agencies with essential resources, the municipality continues to build a more prepared, resilient, and disaster-ready community.
