Ang buwan ng Marso ay Fire Prevention Month!

Kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ng buong bansa sa pagpapalakas ng kampanya upang maiwasan ang sunog, lalo na ngayong Fire Prevention Month.

May temang “Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag-iisa,” patuloy na pinatatatag ng DepEd ang pagpapatupad sa mga programa sa paaralan na nagbibigay ng kaalaman kung paano maiiwasan at ano ang mga sanhi, hazards, at panganib ng sunog.

The Department of Education joins the celebration of the International Women’s Day today, March 8! ♀️💜

With the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” this year’s celebration is in accordance with the priority concept for the upcoming 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW-67), which is the “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”.

In line with this, the celebration also aims to recognize women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative innovation and digital education.

Along with this, we are also celebrating today the Women’s Rights and International Peace Day in accordance with Proclamation No. 224, s. 1988.

Let us continue to raise awareness and uphold women’s rights!

Balamban Elementary School is very glad, proud, and happy to announce that six out of 15 campus journalist we sent last Saturday, March 4, 2023, to San Isidro Central and SPED School for the Districr Press Conference 2023 were able to placed 1st to 3rd on their respective contest and will be qualified to participate and respresent the district to the coming Division Press Conference 2023 later this month or the next.

Congratulations DSPC qualifiers, coaches and proud and supportive parents. BalambanES is very proud of you!🫡🎉👏

Balamban Elementary School would like to extend our heartfelt and all-out gratitude to the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur, headed by Hon. Gov. Victor J. Yu, and to the Congresswoman of the 1st Congressional District of ZDS, Hon. Congw. Divina Grace C. Yu, for the donation of one 50 inches Victoria Smart LED TV to the school. This was received by our school head, Mr. Christopher R. Bolando last February 16, 2023 at the Provincial Pavillion, Provincial Government Center, Dao, Pagadian City!🫡👏

Balamban Elementary School is very much thankful and grateful to BalambanES Grade 6 Batch 2000 for conducting a School Supplies Giving and Feeding Program to the teachers and learners of the school yesterday, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, with their former class adviser retired teacher Mrs. Cherlinda Tulba Pasco. Also in attendance was Mrs. Helena C. Sardan, another retired teacher of the school.

Balamban Elementary School announces with great glee, pride, and happiness that our school's Volleyball Elementary girls players qualify for the coming 2023 Provincial Meet on March 17-19, 2023, at Molave Regional Pilot School, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. These 12 girls represented Delegation during the 2023 Qualci 1 Athletic Meet held at Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur last February 25 & 26, 2023. They triumphed over their peers from Dumingag and Josefina. They are coached by Mrs. Charmagne B. Maputi and Mrs. Leonidesa B. Jayme!

Balamban Elementary School is very much proud of our Volleyball Elementary Girls players for representing Mahayag South District, and winning against their counterpart, Mahayag North District, during the Mahayag Athletic Town Meet 2023 held last Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Mahayag Central Elementary School, Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur. These girls are qualified and will represent our Municipality of Mahayag at the Qualci Meet scheduled on February 25-27, 2023 at Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur! Kudos to you girls and keep up the good work!🫡

Balamban Elementary School is so glad and merry to announce to everyone the transfer and designation of Mrs. Rowena Alcaria Saniel, T-I, to BalambanES starting February 6, 2023. Ma'am Wen is from Langapod Integrated School, Labangan I District, SDO Zamboanga del Sur. At present, she is designated as the Class Adviser of Grade 2 Sapphire which was formerly the class advisory of Sir Carlo C. Lopecillo before he is designated as School HE/EPP teacher. Ma'am Lotes was a former classroom teacher here at BalambanES until her designation as school head.
