Look: On June 13, 2023, Station Commander of Coast Guard Station Camiguin together with Coast Guard Sub-Station Mambajao, Coast Guard Sub-Station Mahinog, Sea Marshall Unit - Camiguin and Coast Guard K9 - Camiguin onboard Aluminum Boat (AB-151) and responded to a distress fishing boat ANRICHEN 7 that encountered engine trouble at vicinity waters off Balbagon Port, Mambajao, Camiguin Province while transversing to Initao, Misamis Oriental.

Thereafter, the team successfully rescued and towed the said fishing banca with four (4) crews onboard, all in good physical condition namely: 1) Anthony A Baguio, 30 years old, 2) Dean Angel G Aranaydo, 24 years old, 3) Paul Anthon Tui, 21 years old and 4) Herme S Manal, 65 years old and all a resident of Brgy Poblacion Initao, Misamis Oriental.

The team safely arrived and secured from towing operation of the said fishing banca and moored at Port of Balbagon, Mambajao, Camiguin Province in close coordination with LGU Mambajao, MDRRMO Mambajao and PPA Camiguin.

LOOK: On June 08 2023, Personnel of Coast Guard Station Camiguin and its sub-stations together with its OPCON units participated the Simultaneous Earthquake Drill by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Likewise, Coast Guard Sub-Station Mahinog and Coast Guard Sub-Station Mambajao also conducted the said activity simultaneously in their respective AOR.

Scenario: The personnel of Coast Guard Station Camiguin were inside the office and then suddenly felt the shaking of the ground/earthquake. At the same time, personnel of each Coast Guard Sub-Stations also experienced the same occurrence. Immediately, they performed their actions as follows:

• Duck, cover and hold
• Took shelter under sturdy furniture such as a desk or table
• Avoid being exposed to walls as much as possible to avoid them falling over.
• Avoid areas near windows, mirrors or any glass that can shatter and cause further harm or injury.
• Proceed to any open areas away from buildings or anything that can fall over to avoid any incidents.
• Conducted muster to account all personnel

LOOK: On June 03 2023, Personnel of Coast Guard Station Camiguin together with Coast Guard Sub-Station Mahinog, Coast Guard Sub-Station Mambajao, OPCON Units and 1009TH PCGA Squadron, Green Lagoon Eagles Club, Black Mountain Eagles Club, BPAT and Brgy official of Brgy San Roque, Mahinog and Brgy Maac, Guinsiliban participated in Coastal Clean-up activity conducted by PENRO Camiguin held at shoreline of Brgy San Miguel, Mahinog to Brgy Maac, Guinsiliban, Camiguin Province.

The team collected thirty (30) sacks, more or less four hundred (450) kilograms of assorted garbage and reach about two (2) kilometers area covered during the activity. Said garbage was properly disposed on the designated area.

Said activity was successfully ended and the team returned to the proper station safely.
