The organization will conduct its 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 (𝗕𝗟𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 on July 10–11, 2026, at the Barangay Malalag Covered Court, Purok Rag-o, Malalag, Maitum, Sarangani Province.

A series of lectures and hands-on simulations will be conducted by our trainers from the Municipality's MDRRM Office to equip our members with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills in emergency response.

Throughout the two-day training, participants will learn the proper assessment of emergency situations, perform high-quality life-saving interventions while emphasizing teamwork, leadership, and safety in responding to emergencies.

This training marks another milestone in strengthening AKBAY's commitment to building a community of competent, prepared, and service-driven youth volunteers; always ready to respond when every second counts.

The Municipal Evaluation Team (MET) Validation for the GEMS for SK 2026 is officially scheduled on July 14–16, 2026.

This validation serves as an important opportunity to showcase your barangay's commitment to responsive, transparent, and impactful youth governance. We encourage all concerned SK Councils to be fully prepared by ensuring that all documentary requirements are complete, organized, and readily available on your assigned schedule.

Together, let's continue raising the standard of youth leadership and governance in the Municipality of Maitum.

Congratulations, Sangguniang Kabataan Upo, headed by Hon. Karl Vincent L. Kusin, for being the 10th Barangay with Sangguniang Bayan Approval of its SK Annual Budget for FY 2026!

Approved Budget: ₱563,268.00
Approval Date: July 6, 2026

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the reviewing and approving committee: Municipal Budget Office, Municipal Planning and Development Office, Local Youth Development Office, SK Federation of Maitum office, 21st Sangguniang Bayan of Maitum and the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Maitum.

This is in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, as amended by Republic Act No. 11768, and pursuant to the DBM–DILG–NYC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, series of 2025, which mandates the timely preparation and submission of the SK Annual Budget aligned with the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) and the 3-Year Comprehensive Barangay Youth Investment Plan (CBYIP).

We look forward to seeing these plans come to life through meaningful PPAs that will truly benefit the youth and the community of Barangay Upo! 💪🏼

𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 requires strength, and 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 begins with 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. As we nurture our hearts through service, let us also not forget to 𝗡𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 by making healthier choices every day.

As we celebrate 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 this July, let us keep in mind that 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 make 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, more reliable community partners, and volunteers better equipped to uplift others.
