“𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄” – 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

The Maitum Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Rolan F. Lapasaran, joined the Bureau of Fire Protection’s Nationwide Advent Recollection with the uplifting theme “Jesus Our Hope.” This spiritual activity, hosted by the BFP Chaplain Service and streamed via Facebook Live, brought together personnel from BFP-NHQ and participants from all 18 regions, fostering unity in reflection and prayer.

Bro. Jose “Jon” B. Escoto, President and CEO of Leadlife Inc. and Area Feast Builder for South Luzon, delivered a heartfelt message centered on faith, renewal, and the enduring hope found in Christ. His reflection deeply resonated with all attendees, reminding everyone that even in moments of struggle, Jesus remains our anchor and source of strength.

The program concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. FCI Jecker R. Luego, Deputy Chief Chaplain Service.

As firefighters face daily challenges and life-threatening situations, this recollection served as a meaningful pause—allowing personnel to reconnect with their spiritual well-being, renew their sense of purpose, and strengthen their commitment to serve with compassion, courage, and hope.

May this season of Advent inspire us all to remain steadfast in our mission and grounded in the everlasting hope that Jesus brings.

As part of our continuous commitment to community safety and development, the team conducted a Free Seminar on Electrical and House Safety and provided assistance during the Feeding Program for residents in the area.

BFP–Maitum Fire Station personnel, under the supervision of Municipal Fire Marshal 𝐒𝐅𝟎𝟒 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐅 𝐋𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍, conducted a Fire Safety Lecture and Fire Drill at 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐘𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, Saub, Mabay, Maitum, Sarangani Province. The activity was actively participated in by pupils, teachers, and non-teaching personnel as part of the school’s annual safety program.

The initiative aimed to strengthen the school community’s preparedness in case of fire. Through discussions and hands-on demonstrations, participants learned how to identify fire hazards, respond calmly during emergencies, practice proper evacuation procedures, and use a fire extinguisher correctly. By reinforcing these skills, the program helps build a culture of safety and readiness within the school and the wider community.

In line with Oplan Kaluluwa 2025, personnel of the Maitum Fire Station, led by SFO4 Rolan F. Lapasaran, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, were on full standby to ensure public safety and provide immediate assistance to visitors at the Public Terminal and Public Cemetery in Barangay Malalag, Maitum, Sarangani Province.

Both the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire Suppression Teams were strategically deployed and ready to respond to any situation, whether medical emergencies or fire incidents.

This initiative reflects the Bureau of Fire Protection – Sarangani Province’s continued commitment to safeguarding the community, particularly during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, when many gather to pay tribute to their departed loved ones.

🚒 STANDBY OPERATIONS FOR OPLAN KALULUWA 2025 🚑
MAITUM FIRE STATION | SARANGANI PROVINCE

In observance of Oplan Kaluluwa 2025, the Maitum Fire Station personnel have been deployed to conduct standby Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire Suppression Operations together with the Maitum PNP at the Public Terminal and Public Cemetery located in Barangay Malalag, Maitum, Sarangani Province.

Through this proactive operation, our EMS and Fire Suppression teams remain on standby to provide immediate response to any medical emergencies, fire incidents, or safety-related concerns that may arise in these areas.

The activity is under the supervision of SFO4 Rolan F. Lapasaran, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal of Maitum, who emphasized the Bureau’s commitment to public safety, community preparedness, and rapid emergency response.

As the skies lit up in celebration, our team remained vigilant, fully equipped and ready to respond to any untoward incident. Our presence underscores the Bureau’s commitment to fire safety, crowd control, and emergency readiness during large public gatherings.

We commend the organizers and the LGU of Maitum for a successful and festive opening.

Maitum FS throws support to Binuyugan Festival

MAITUM, Sarangani (20 May 2025) - Maitum Fire Station has thrown its support to the ongoing celebration of Binuyugan Festival of Maitum, Sarangani Province.

Yesterday, the station personnel led by SFO4 Ronilo P Ledres, Officer-in-Charge, participated the security briefing for the said festival, and attended the ecumenical service and the opening program of Binuyugan Festival.

Earlier today, Maitum FS personnel served as fire suppression team and EMS standby to the Raising of 19 Barangay Banners.

The Binyugan Festival is an annual festival in the Municipality of Maitum which is celebrated on the month of May. This years’ celebration is expected to run from May 19-31.
