Goldenstate of Maitum Holds Blessing and Inauguration Ceremony

Goldenstate of Maitum officially marked a new milestone with the conduct of its Blessing and Inauguration Ceremony, celebrating the establishment of the institution and its commitment to providing quality education and opportunities for the community.

The ceremony featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Dr. Warren Mahinay, School President; Dr. Sara Jane Manilay, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Rody P. Garcia, CHED Regional Director for Region XII; former Mayor Alexander Bryan Reganit; Mayor James Mark Reganit; and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Maitum.

Also in attendance was Dr. Rody P. Garcia, Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XII, who delivered an inspirational message during the ceremony. He emphasized the importance of accessible and quality higher education in empowering young people and contributing to the development of local communities.

The presence of local government officials and education leaders highlighted the strong support of both the public and private sectors for initiatives that expand educational opportunities in Maitum.

The inauguration of Goldenstate of Maitum marks another significant step toward strengthening the municipality’s educational landscape, opening new avenues for learners and contributing to the community’s pursuit of progress and development.

Last August 7, 2026, the 3rd Maitum Youth Festival officially opened with the first-ever MYF Fun Run and Tree Growing Activity, bringing together hundreds of young Maitumians to move, connect and make an impact.

From taking the first steps to planting new roots, our youth showed that when we come together, meaningful change begins at the grassroots.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Municipality of Maitum informs the public that Goldenstate Maitum, located at the Maitum Public Market, will start accepting enrollees for its available courses.

🗓 Enrollment starts on August 10, 2026.

Interested individuals are encouraged to visit Goldenstate Maitum for the list of available courses, enrollment requirements, and class schedules.

Take this opportunity to learn new skills and invest in your future. We encourage everyone to enroll and be part of this learning opportunity.

CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

In view of the Magnitude 5.3 earthquake experienced in the Municipality at approximately 12:13 PM today, classes in ALL LEVELS, both PUBLIC and PRIVATE schools, are hereby SUSPENDED effective immediately.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, teachers, and school personnel while appropriate inspections and assessments are being conducted.

Everyone is advised to remain calm, stay vigilant, and monitor official announcements from the Local Government Unit and other concerned agencies for further updates.
