The RDC-NCR conducted the Second Sectoral Committee Meeting for the Infrastructure Development Committee and Finance and Development Administration Committee today, 27 August 2026.

The agenda included an orientation on the Regional Development Investment Program (RDIP) and Public Investment Program (PIP), and presentations on Technology Institutions of the NCR into a Unified Polytechnic Institute for Higher-Level Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) 2nd Quarter CY 2026 Report, Draft Regional Development Plan NCR Midterm Update 2023-2028, and Liveable Cities Local Lab.

The meeting was chaired by Hon. Mayor John Reynald M. Tiangco of Navotas City, as the Chairperson of the Infrastructure Development Committee, and co-chaired by Mr. Anton V. Calugay of Megaworld Corporation. The meeting was participated by various government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and non-government organizations.

The RDC-NCR conducted the Second Sectoral Committee Meeting for the Social Development Committee and Economic and Environment Development Committee today, 26 August 2026.

The meeting aimed to orient the stakeholders on the Public Investment Program (PIP), and present the following:
1. BEST: Boosting Employability in Strategic TVET Sectors
2. Rationalizing and Transforming TESDA-NCR Technology Institutions (TTIs) into a Unified Polytechnic Institute for Higher-Level TVET
3. Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) CY 2026 Second Quarter Report
4. Draft Regional Development Plan Midterm Update 2023-2028
5. Liveable Cities Local Lab

The meeting was led by the Chairperson of the Social Development Committee, Hon. Mayor Imelda G. Calixto-Rubiano of Pasay City, together with government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and non-government organizations.

The Second Sectoral Committee Meeting originally scheduled for 19-20 August 2026, has been rescheduled to 𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟕 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 8:00 AM, at Chardonnay by Astoria, Pasig City.

We kindly ask all Committee members and concerned agencies to take note of the updated schedule.

Ang Regional Statistics Committee para sa NCR ay nagsagawa ng ikatlong regular na pagpupulong ngayong 12 Agosto 2026.

Sa pagpupulong na ito, napagusapan ang iba't ibang mga paksa na may kaugnayan sa statistics tulad ng pagsama ng Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) and Philippine Standard Occupation Classification (PSOC) sa Tuklas, overview ng Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System (PENCAS), at pagsagawa ng 30th Philippine Statistical Quiz. Gayundin, inaprubahan ng komite ang mga resolusyon patungkol sa mga sumusunod:

1. 37th National Statistics Month Calendar of Activities
2. Updated List of Core Regional SDG Indicators
3. Updates on the SDG Pace of Progress
4. Proposed 2026 RSC-NCR Policy Agenda
5. RSC-NCR Capacity Training on Descriptive Analysis and Data Visualization with AI-Enabled Tools

Ang komite na ito ay pinangunahan nila Director Shiela Gail Satura-Quingco ng MMDA at RDC-NCR, at Regional Director Paciano Dizon ng Philippine Statistics Authority-NCR. Ito naman ay dinaluhan ng iba't ibang ahensya ng gobyerno, at akademya.
