Aiming to inspire, equip, and empower womenโs leadership capabilities, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has conducted a leadership talk entitled Strength and Dignity: Leading from the Power of the Line; lead by the journalist, Ms. Pia Roces Morato last Tuesday, 21st of July 2026 attended by female employees and personnel.
Held at the MMFF Auditorium, Miss Morato highlighted that a womanโs authority comes from her characterโa character well established and grounded by competence and power carried effortlessly like a garment.
During the session, she imparted several key points of womenโs skills and competencies such as the advanced capacity for reading and navigating interpersonal dynamics, complex problem-solving skills, resilience, and confidence. She has shared not only statistically supported data, but also experiences in navigating and strengthening womenโs influence in the workplace, emphasizing on the competencies women have that are powerful tools in developing service to the nation and its people.
