Be A Wise Saver (BAWS) is the flagship program of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) on financial literacy. Launched in 2009, it has since been conducted all over the Philippines to audiences considered as the society's vulnerable. The BAWS has reached out to the academe, senior citizens, young professionals and the business groups. This page is dedicated to BAWS in support of PDIC's Corporate Social Responsibility. Its main objective is to empower its audience with knowledge and insights about wise saving and responsible banking. It is platform of shared learning which can help increase the confidence of every Filipino in making sound financial decisions for a secure future. We will not allow posting/re-posting of fake news, spam and unrelated advertisements, and flaming on our page. These types of posts or comments will be removed without prior notice to the user concerned. On Trolls and Fake Accounts
We will not respond to or engage with trolls or anyone with fake accounts, whether suspected or verified. Accounts that are verified as fake will automatically be banned and/or reported to Facebook. On Prohibited Content
Users who post the following content or posts shall be banned: Fake news, blackmail, threats, insults, profanity, pornography/nudity and other sexually suggestive content, malicious content, unauthorized posting of copyrighted material, unrelated information, jokes or promotions, and suspicious links and viruses. We also encourage everyone to protect and respect each other’s data privacy by not posting personal information on public platforms such as the comments section.
