Recently, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Philippines had the opportunity to visit Home Culinary and Technical School for a productive discussion on workforce development and skills training.

One of the key topics explored was the potential introduction of TESDA National Certificate III programs, which could further enhance the qualifications and competitiveness of Filipino workers. Strengthening these training opportunities would help prepare graduates for international careers, particularly in Austria, where there is a growing demand for skilled professionals.

By aligning training programs with industry requirements and global standards, we can help equip Filipinos with the skills needed to succeed in the international job market while creating pathways to stable and rewarding employment opportunities abroad.

We are grateful for the warm welcome from Ms. Camille Navarro Makasiar and Mr. Neil John Makasiar of Home Culinary and Technical School and look forward to exploring future areas of collaboration.

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Philippines recently had the pleasure of visiting the Dualtech Training Center Foundation, Inc. where we engaged in a productive exchange on skills development and international opportunities for Filipino talent.

During the visit, we highlighted Austria as a strong and attractive labor market, offering very good level of wages, excellent working conditions, outstanding social security system, and a high level of quality of life. We are also encouraged by the alignment between Austria’s workforce needs and the high-quality training provided by Dualtech.

This visit reinforces our commitment to fostering partnerships that create meaningful pathways for skilled Filipino workers to access global opportunities while supporting Austria’s labor market needs.
