📢 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

Noong Setyembre 10, 2026, nakiisa ang Barangay Poblacion Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee (DRRMC) sa isinagawang 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) bilang bahagi ng patuloy na paghahanda at pagpapalakas ng kaalaman ng komunidad sa tamang pagtugon sa panahon ng lindol.

Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok sa ganitong mga pagsasanay, patuloy nating isinusulong ang kahandaan, disiplina, at kaligtasan ng buong komunidad.

📢 PAUNAWA SA MGA RESIDENTE NG BARANGAY POBLACION

Bilang pakikiisa sa Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), magkakaroon po ng Earthquake Drill sa buong Barangay Poblacion bukas, Setyembre 10, 2026, alas-2:00 ng Hapon.

🔔 Kapag narinig ang alarm o sirena, huwag po tayong mabahala o matakot, sapagkat ito ay bahagi lamang ng isang nationwide earthquake drill na sabay-sabay isasagawa sa iba't ibang panig ng bansa.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makiisa at sundin ang tamang Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure bilang paghahanda sa oras ng tunay na lindol.

Ang inyong pakikilahok ay mahalaga upang mas maging handa at ligtas ang ating komunidad.

• Manatili sa loob ng bahay at isara ang lahat ng bintana at pinto.
• Magsuot ng face mask kung kailangang lumabas ng bahay.
• Iwasan ang pag-eehersisyo o mabibigat na gawain sa labas.
• Uminom ng maraming tubig upang manatiling hydrated.
• Mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho dahil sa malabong paningin sa kalsada (low visibility).
• Agad magpatingin sa doktor kung nahihirapang huminga o sumasakit ang dibdib.

As of 11:00 AM, Metro Manila, including Makati City, is now under the RED RAINFALL WARNING LEVEL due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) according to PAGASA. Meanwhile, heavy rains due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) are currently being experienced in Makati City which may persist within the next 3 hours.

IMPACTS:
• Slippery roads
• Limited visibility and slow-moving traffic.
• Flooding is expected in low lying / flood prone areas.
• Difficulty in commuting during rush hour.
• Outdoor activities temporarily halted.
• Water levels may rise near canals, drainage systems, and other waterways.
• Raises dust and loose paper.
• Small branches sway.

WHAT TO DO:
• Drive carefully to avoid accidents due to slippery roads and reduced visibility.
• During flooding, avoid walking through flooded areas without protective gear to prevent waterborne illnesses.
• Motorists should prepare an alternative route to avoid flooded roadways in case of continuous heavy rains.
• Consider temporarily halting outdoor activities for your convenience.

As of 3:15 PM according to DOST-PAGASA, Metro Manila, including Makati City, is now under the ORANGE RAINFALL WARNING LEVEL due to the Southwest Monsoon.

Meanwhile, as of 3:20 PM, moderate to heavy heavy rains are being experienced over Makati City, which may persist within 2 hours.

Impacts:
• Slippery roads
• Limited visibility and slow-moving traffic.
• Outdoor activities temporarily halted.
• Slight rises in water levels near canals, drainage systems, and other waterways.
