We bid Amb. Marielle Geraedts farewell yesterday.

She came as a diplomat but left as a friend of the Philippines. We hope a piece of the Filipino spirit, warmth, and resilience, go with her onto her next posting in Bogota.

Thank you for trusting us, for leading us with patience, and for genuinely caring about our team and this country.

This is not a goodbye, but hasta la vista! Hanggang sa muli (until we see each other again).

Seafarers play a vital role in global trade, often working far from home and family. Thousands of Filipino seafarers serve with dedication and professionalism aboard Dutch vessels, contributing greatly to the maritime sector and strengthening the strong partnership between the Netherlands and the Philippines. โ›ด๏ธ

As the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, we proudly recognize their commitment and continue to support the safety, welfare, and well-being of seafarers at sea.

๐ŸŒŠ Thank you to all seafarers for your dedication, resilience, and the essential role you play in keeping the world moving.

On the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, we celebrate the women who are architects of peace, advocates for equality, and leaders shaping global cooperation. At our own embassy and across the world.

Celebrating women in diplomacy means more than recognition. It continues to be important to fight structural barriers, expand opportunities, and ensure the next generation of women can lead, influence, and shape the course of international affairs. ๐Ÿคโค๏ธ

Celebrating 75 years of friendship and partnership ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

This year marks 75 years of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and the Philippines โ€” a milestone built on trust, cooperation, and shared values.

To celebrate this special year, we are sharing a series of videos showcasing the many ways our countries work together. From water management and agriculture to semiconductors, and protection of human rights, our partnership continues to make a difference.

In this video, we highlight our shared commitment to human rights. For the Netherlands, human rights are at the heart of our international engagement: every person deserves to live with dignity, freedom, and equal opportunities. Together with Philippine partners, we support initiatives that protect vulnerable communities, combat human trafficking, and strengthen the protection of fundamental rights.

Through cooperation and shared action, we continue to turn our values into meaningful impact. ๐Ÿค
