This year, an estimated 1.2 million devotees gathered in Naga City and joined the Fluvial Procession of El Divino Rostro and Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia, a cherished tradition honoring the faith and devotion that have shaped Bicolano culture for centuries.

Despite adjustments brought by the low tide, the procession continued, carrying forward a tradition of accompanying Ina home — passed from one generation to the next.

The MICHELIN Guide has officially unveiled its 2026 selection, awarding the country’s first-ever Two MICHELIN Keys to El Nido Resorts Lagen Island and Raffles Makati, which was promoted to the prestigious Two-Key distinction this year.

Joining the roster are newly minted One MICHELIN Key destinations—including El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Island and Manami Resort in Negros Occidental—alongside iconic island retreats like Amanpulo and Nay Palad Hideaway that earned their distinctions last year.

🌏 Eleven Nations, One Future.

It's been 59 years since five founding fathers from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand signed the ASEAN Declaration in Bangkok. Since then, guided by three core pillars — Political-Security, Economic, and Socio-Cultural Community — the organization has grown to 11 member nations. Today, ASEAN is made up of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

This year, the Philippines proudly hosts the 49th ASEAN Summit under the theme "Navigating Our Future, Together," driving the region with unity, clarity, and shared purpose.
