Attended today’s Public Hearing as the author of the proposed ordinance on the regulation, calibration, and sealing of weighing scales in the Municipality of Makilala.

Importante nga mapaminawan nato ang concerns, suggestions, ug experiences sa atong stakeholders before finalizing the measure. Simple ra gyud ang tumong ani atuang ginapaningkamutan nga mapasa na balaod-- to make sure nga sakto ug accurate ang mga timbangan, fair ang matag transaction, ug maprotektahan both our consumers and business owners.

Padayon ta sa paghimo og mga ordinansa nga practical, responsive, ug para sa kaayohan sa tanan.

44th Regular Session✨

Today’s Regular Session was another productive day of public service. Several resolutions were approved, reflecting our continuing commitment to address the needs and concerns of our constituents, to wit:

🔸Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Armando M. Quibod, to Extend Financial Assistance amounting to PhP100,000.00 to the Municipalities of Malapatan and Glan, both located in the Province of Saranggani, in response to the devastating earthquake that recently affected the said municipalities;

🔸Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Armando M. Quibod to enter into and sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Agriculture – RFO XII and the Makilala Integrated Peace Advocates Farmers Association (MIPAFA) for the establishment of one (1) Module of Layer Production Project, with an approved Budget for the contract of PhP 2,300,000.00, under the National Livestock Program of the Department of Agriculture;

🔸Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Mayor Hon. Armando M. Quibod to enter into and sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Rubber Research Institute (PRRI), which establishes a collaborative framework between the LGU and the PRRI for the proper use, management, and maintenance of two (2) Power Sprayers.

Atol sa Question Hour, nakig-uban kanato ang mga representante gikan sa MKWD (Engr. Elben Daquipa ug Engr. Sheena Refuila) ug sa DPWH (Engr. Sahajan Fauzzia Mae Silongan ug Engr. Jay Marte) aron motubag ug maghatag og klarong kasayuran bahin sa nagkalain-laing concerns ug mga isyu nga direktang nakaapekto sa atong mga komunidad. Their presence gave us the opportunity to raise the questions of our people and seek clearer answers on the issues at hand.

Padayon ta sa pagpaminaw, pagpangutana, ug pagpangita og konkretong solusyon para sa kaayohan sa katawhan. Public service is always better when there is transparency, dialogue, and cooperation.
