𝐵𝑅𝐺𝑌 𝑀𝐴𝐿𝐴𝑆𝐼𝐿𝐴, 𝑀𝐴𝐾𝐼𝐿𝐴𝐿𝐴, 𝐶𝑂𝑇𝐴𝐵𝐴𝑇𝑂 – What began as an ordinary journey along the Cotabato–Davao Road swiftly turned into a desperate fight against momentum and fate.

A trailer truck, believed to have originated from Davao City and carrying a full haul of cement, suffered a catastrophic brake failure while traversing Brgy. Malasila, Makilala, North Cotabato, with its speed rapidly becoming uncontrollable, the massive vehicle crashed into a huge rock, leaving a scene of destruction along the roadway.

Responding without hesitation, your KAAGAPAY Battalion, in coordination with the Mdrrmo and PNP Makilala, immediately deployed one (1) backhoe loader to assist in the extraction and recovery of the ill-fated vehicle and facilitate the clearing of the affected road.

The driver sustained minor injuries, while his two other companions sustained serious injuries.

Amid the twisted steel, scattered cement, and the weight of a tragic moment, this unit stood ready—not merely to move a wreckage, but to help restore order, safety, and mobility to a community in need.

𝑀𝐼𝑁𝐷𝐴𝑁𝐴𝑂 𝐴𝑅𝑀𝑌 𝑇𝑅𝐴𝐼𝑁𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝐺𝑅𝑂𝑈𝑃 (𝑀𝐴𝑇𝐺) – 𝐾𝑖𝑏𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑛, 𝐾𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑛, 𝐵𝑢𝑘𝑖𝑑𝑛𝑜𝑛. From the training grounds to the halls of military excellence, the Engineer Non-Commissioned Officer’s Basic Course (ENCOBC) and Engineer Commissioned Officer’s Advance Course (ENOAC) became proving grounds where discipline met determination—and where the colors of the 512th Engineer Construction (KAAGAPAY) Battalion rose with pride.

Through relentless training, unwavering focus, and a commitment to excellence, personnel of the 512ECB emerged among the top performers in their respective military schooling, proving that true leadership is forged not by rank alone, but by hard work, resilience, and the courage to rise above every challenge.

Their achievement carries more than individual distinction—it carries the name, honor, and legacy of the KAAGAPAY.

Every lesson mastered, every obstacle overcome, and every standard surpassed is a testament to the Battalion’s enduring commitment to excellence. For the 512ECB, every course is not merely a school—it is another opportunity to sharpen the blade of service and prepare its soldiers to build, lead, and serve with distinction.

𝐾𝑂𝑅𝑂𝑁𝐴𝐷𝐴𝐿 𝐶𝐼𝑇𝑌, 𝑆𝑂𝑈𝑇𝐻 𝐶𝑂𝑇𝐴𝐵𝐴𝑇𝑂 – When the earth trembled and Southern Mindanao was struck by a devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake, heroes did not wait for the dust to settle.

Among those who stood at the forefront of the response was the 512th Engineer Construction "Kaagapay" Battalion, under the leadership of LTC JOSE LAUREL M SIBULLAS CE (GSC) PA. Its troopers joined fellow emergency responders in bringing assistance, strength, and hope to communities affected by the disaster.

For their selfless service and unwavering commitment, the KAAGAPAY troopers, together with Local Chief Executives, private entities, financial institutions, fire brigades, and organizational units, were recently recognized as Guests of Honor and Awardees during the 35th Anniversary Celebration of the Bureau of Fire Protection - Region XII on 25 August 2026 at the EMR Convention Center, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The 512th Engineer Construction Battalion was represented by its Executive Officer, MAJ JYPSY D CENTILLAS (CE) PA, who received the recognition on behalf of the unit.

The recognition was more than an award—it was a testament to the power of unity when every second matters, every effort counts, and every helping hand can save a life.

From the rubble came resilience.
From adversity came solidarity.
And from the call for help came the KAAGAPAY.

𝐵𝐴𝑁𝑇𝑈𝐴𝑁𝑂𝑁, 𝐿𝐴𝑁𝑇𝐴𝑃𝐴𝑁, 𝐵𝑈𝐾𝐼𝐷𝑁𝑂𝑁 — What began as a shared blueprint has become a doorway to brighter futures as the newly completed One-unit, Two-classroom School Building was formally turned over to Bantuanon Integrated School.

Funded by Dole PH Stanfilco and Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc., with the steadfast support of LGU Lantapan, Bgu Bantuanon, and DepEd Bukidnon, the project stands as a testament to what unity and collective action can build.

Your KAAGAPAY Battalion transformed the vision into a safe and enduring learning space, while the 403rd Infantry "Peacemaker" Brigade Philippine Army, and 1st Special Forces (HUNTER-KILLER) Battalion, Special Forces Regiment Airborne, Philippine Army., provided vital security support throughout its implementation.

More than concrete, steel, and paint, these classrooms carry a shared promise: that every learner deserves a place where knowledge is nurtured, potential is strengthened, and dreams are given room to grow.

This meaningful milestone embodies the KAAGAPAY commitment:
